I have a question. I was working on my friend the other day distantly using the wombing and tractor beaming technique. She had a shoulder replacement. I was just sensing and dissolving a bunch of squiggly stuff. Anyway she started talking about how her doctor had said it would be at least till November till she could start doing strength training because there had been so much damage to the tendons. It was like someone flipped a switch, the energy just shut down. I didn't think a person had to believe that the energy work was going to be effective. What do you think about this? Did she block the flow of energy? I felt sad about this.

Hi, Linda - I think that thought blocked the flow of energy - did you address it? Often, all that is necessary in a situation like that is to bring a person's consciousness to what just happened. She could then have the opportunity to let the thought go. One approach you could have used is to have her consciously focus on that thought, "Maybe it COULD get better right away in spite of what the doctor said" as you ran energy, and you could pay attention to when you felt a good flow of energy again and let her know.
If you did not discuss this with her, I would suggest that you reconnect with her and let her know what you observed, and work as suggested above, and then return to more direct work on the shoulder itself. I agree with Jocelyn, remember the client is the healer. One of the reasons that I have the client on the phone when I do distant sessions, is so I can point out how there words and thoughts impact their ability to accept healing.
I have also found distant healing to be every bit as powerful as when in person. Occasionally I have noted that bones make take till the next day to really align all the way but that is not such a big deal. I would say that occurs maybe 5% of the time. Thank you all for your wisdom. Firstly, Kweden, calling on spirits is not something I do with quantum touch or core transformation. That was something I learned with Reiki, but I just never remember to do it anymore. The distant healing was going great, I actually felt it more powerfully on the phone, than when I saw her in person and worked on her due to the fact that there were so many distractions.
Jocelyn, being new to core transformation I was just going with the flow and only suspected that this could be the cause. I always thought that it didn't matter whether or not the person had faith that the healing would work, that it would work regardless of their belief. I did discuss it with her later and she got a little defensive, but it did allow her to examine her thoughts. Alain, it is wonderful to keep learning about this work. As an interesting side note, she mentioned to me today that something within her has shifted that she cannot quite define, but she attributed it to the core transformation, and indeed, circumstances in her life seem to have become "unstuck." Others commented to her on the change. Pretty cool stuff...deep levels affected for sure. |
