Several months ago I completed the Core video workshop. About two months ago I completed the Basic Quantum video workshop. I have been practicing both procedures on a daily basis (with good results) but for some reason when I run energy (Basic Quantum) I develop lower back pain. Any ideas or suggestion? Thanks

Are you working in an uncomfortable or strained position? (Looking for the simplest explanation first....)

No, I have always sought to maintain a very comfortable position. Thank you for the suggestion.

Just perform the session on yourself. Try to tractor beam your lower back, womb your lower back or simply do the steam-release technique. Also you can try the stretching exercises with the core-point. I don't know if those exercises are in the video but I'm assuming they are.

If you're in a comforable position and breathing in a non-strenuous fashion, it may be that you're experiencing some flare-ups due to blockages. Anto's suggestions for steaming and wombing is excellent and may assist you in resolving the problem without having to experience further discomfort.

Anto and Trane,

Thanks for the suggestions. The core-point stretch with the tennis ball between the shoulder blade and spine helped to relieve the discomfort. The suggestion about blockages also seems likely, and when I use wombing or the tractor beam the stress is likewise relieved. Thanks again for your help.

i agree that it could be working through some blockages - when i first started QT iwould always get a very warm flood feeling through my kidney area on the right hand side - this lasted quite a few months and then subsided. Also other things flared up - old injuries , last a few weeks then disappear again. Another point to consider - is there an emotional issue (financial, security wise) that could be expressing itself through your back - that you are trying to deal with? Just a thought.

Hi Kevin,

Just to be clear, first there is no official "Core video workshop". There is the Core video that can be experienced and utilized.

Next the "stretch" you refer to is counter to Core concepts. There is no stretch there are only elongations and extensions.

Remember as you practice the exercises or the healing work that all the breathing is done from the Core point and it is about opening more than anything else. How your body opens when a "bump" is put in the way eg the tennis ball, is unique to you and the melting it can produce.

I agree that Steam release and wombing is a great way to start and as you have found the tennis ball exercise beneficial I would suggest you check the hips for level, as well as for any twist in the pelvis, as the tennis ball exercise helps to open you if you have that type of issue.

wendyp,

Yes, I am working through some issues, but that seems to be part of being here. I'll just keep doing the work until the blockage is gone. Thanks for the encouragement.

Alain,

Yes, I was referring to the core transformation home video (and the basic quantum touch home video) that I purchased through the QT site. The core elongation exercise I also mistakenly labeled as a stretch. I've had a little difficulty moving from the core technique, which I seemed to quickly learn and feel comfortable with, to the basic quantum touch technique, which requires a different type of attention. I'll simply keep practicing. Thanks for you help.

Thank you all for your help and suggestions. I have found that spending about 5 minutes spinning the chakras before starting a session helps to greatly enhance the flow of energy with little or no blockage.
