I have been dealing with a herniated disc since January. It is getting the better of me. So far craniosacral therapy has worked the best for me. I am wondering if there is anyone out there who knows this modality and the core. It seems to me the two would work well together and allow you to do distance work.

Any thoughts on this. I am just learning about craniosacral treatment and I am flrankly not sure why I responded so quickly to that and not QT?

Try wombing the dural sheath and releasing anything that comes up there then doing the wombing on the disc. You might also do levering open a joint first on the vertebra and steam the muscles prior to wombing.

Just as in Cranial Sacral therapy you can ride the rhythms of the cranial sacral flows with the core work. Then any place where the flow is inhibited apply the core work and note what occurs. Please, let us know how these ideas prove out.

I have used an interesting combination to work on the dural tube. I use the core techniques to access the area in the lower back where it begins or ends depending on where you start from, any way i work from teh lower back up towards the head. After i reach teh tube I instert the UNAN into the tube and let it ride up the tube with the flow of the fluid. I tried using the wombing techniqe twice, but found it wanted the boost of the UNAN to get it moving. The first client reported good results later in the evening, not so good the next day , but again better the day after that. Haven't gotten feedback yet from the second person.
