Being of Light |
Frequently when I work with the core point I get headaches. It doesn't happen all the time but often enough to be annoying. It might be related to having sinus trouble at the time I was taking the class. Maybe I learned it wrong... I suppose I just have to relax a little bit more while doing it. Practice, practice, practice.

Hi Valerie
It sounds to me that you might be pressing to much the core point during the exhale. I have this sometimes in the beginning of a core session than it eases off. If you are in the believing that you aren't in the core point check the 5 diaphragms one by one. See how you feel. After that do all at ones. You should feel "open", lighter then you know you are in the core point. hope it helps Einar |

Hi RadiantLux,
It looks like you are trying to much to find a core point - since being in it will give you feeling of melting, relaxing. As though you are observing AT the point rather than resting IN it. - Check weather you drink enough water - Practice grounding and awarenes of WHOLE body whilst in core With Love, Jelena |

I think you might be crossing your eyes when you practice. That is trying to look back to see the point with your eyes and thus causing actual muscular tension. Try doing it with the eyes open instead of closed and see if that makes a difference for you. This is of course assuming your doing it with the eyes closed.
The other suggestions have merit as well. The one I mentioned is a pretty common error. Alain Herriott instructor (advanced QT classes) |
