I am psyched about the Core 2 class because of the following reasoning. As you are aware of, many books state that nothing happens physically until it happens energetically first. Emotion is sometimes broken down as E-motion, or energy in motion. Ailments manifest in the physical through negative ways of thinking. When QT is applied to a physical issue and the body heals itself, it is possible that the issue will come back. That pattern of thinking or beliefs which created the pain to begin with might still be present and in the process the physical issue presents itself again. Of course I have also heard that when physical issues get cleared, emotional problems as a result get cleared up as well. As a result, the physical issue will not reappear. How often one or the other occurs, I am not sure. I'm sure others can clarify the reality of the process.

This brings me to the emerging Core Transformation 2 (CT2) class which focuses on emotional healing. There is a book called Heal Your Body by Louise Hay which lists the link between a Physical Issue and the Probable (emotional) cause. It's quite amazing and accurate. So I was wondering, if we heal a physical ailment through our usual ways and then heal the emotional aspects that created the ailment in the first place, that issue may never come back. We can use the book as a guide to understand what may have caused the issue to begin with. This would resolve the issue at hand completely or wholistically and may be most powerful. As a result, the physical issue will not come back up again and the client benefits in ways they never expected because of their clearer mental or emotional mindset. In other words, treating the emotional aspect may be a more successful treatment in the long run and that is why I am stoked for the CT2 class. Smiler

Hi Antranik:
I would venture to guess that all things being equal between CTII an energy psychology, what you get is an improvement over previous methods.

Its important to remember, though, that emotional issues can be very complex and multifaceted, and clusters and strings of compounded seemingly conflicting emotions could all be involved to varying degrees.
Best wishes with your work,
Blessings,

Yes, I agree that there is no "one answer fits all" with emotional healing! I, too, have Louise Hay's book, and sometimes find it amazingly accurate - and sometimes don't. There are just too many varieties of ways that things can take a twist for the worse! Healer Rosalyn Bruyere points out that you should always see to it that an understanding of the emotional aspect involved in any dysfunction or challenge come from the healee (in non-QT lingo!), even if the practitioner clearly knows what it is. Sure, you could ask the client if such and such an issue or idea resonates with them - just be clear that you're just bouncing a suggestion off them to see how they feel, not providing them with a pre-fab answer to what's going on. I think it's sort of like working with dreams - yes, there are archetypal images, there are dream dictionaries which can give you good ideas to bounce off of, but in the long run, the dreamer has to figure out what resonates with them. (And "real" life is nothing but a waking dream for the most part in any case!)

Along the same lines - sometimes, when blocked emotional energy is released directly from the body, it does indeed solve the whole problem. Other times, there are deep-seated patterns of belief which keep regenerating the problem if they are not brought to consciousness and dealt with specifically.

You have to simply be there, see what comes up and deal with it the best you can. (And refer out if you can't!)
