HOw would you use Core1 to work with someone who has had a stroke? this person is learning to walk again but still has no use of her left arm. the fingers curl up. How could I help with the arm or the brain?
Not sure where to start or how to approach this. thanks Karen |

A stroke is caused by an internal injury to the brain (usually a blood clot) so "womb" the brain. I would also follow the flows to the arm and work on those, but the brain is the main thing.

Thanks you so much Jody, I will do that.
This lady is 81 and a dear soul. She had seepage in the brain like a leak she said. When she first had the stroke, she still had feeling in the arm, but lost it two days later. I have worked on her before for other things so I think she will be very open to this. Hugs karen |

First, of course, work the head.
Clots that go to the brain mostly originate in other parts of the body such as legs, and especially so if the person is older, diabetic, or sedentary. Stasis of circulation in lower extremities shows up in areas far away from the legs, many times. I would work on the person's legs. Also, strokes are caused by little pieces of arterial plaque (cholesterol deposits) that break off from the insides of partially-clogged vessels and travel to the head. Most prominent are the carotid arteries in the neck for this kind of event, so I would work on the neck. The nerves that arise from the spinal cord at C7 (The "bump" at the base of the neck) are so vital...they control the chest, respiration, to some degree heartbeat, arms, shoulders, and hands. So I always include C7. Strokes are also caused by frank bleeds inside the cranium. These can be from very high blood pressure that opens a small vessel, or from a burst aneurysm (weak spot that balloons) or from tumor. Trauma, of course, can cause an intracranial bleed. Some medications cause bleeding tendencies, one notorious one being Aspirin. So it can be either a clot, or a fresh bleed. Clot: no blood flow. A bleed: Too much blood flow. In either case, some portion of the brain is deprived of perfusion (flow) and therefore is deprived of oxygenation. Since you do not know if clotting or bleeding has caused the trouble, it is not always easy to frame your intention specifically. Therefore I never frame an intention in terms of specifics, such as "stop the bleeding" because the problem may have been clotting, and visa versa. Always state intentions for highest, greatest good, wellness and wholeness to the greatest capacity possible, without addressing specifics. Mother Nature knows which process is at hand and will know what to do, Ma Nature and the person's own body. See the tissues as being healthy, receiving oxygen, and releasing any toxins or wastes. I have a mental picture of the neurons "firing," which they do, and in my visualization there are tiny sparkles of white light given off....photons, which cells actually do emit! Hope this helps. Ali,
Thank you so much for your long explanation and all the background info. thanks for taking the time to do that! I really appreciate that with you medical background. That helps me to understand what is going on. Thanks for reminding me not to get hung up on specifics I will go work on her tomorrow. thanks for the pointers Hugs and love to you karen |
