I have finished reading the book from end to end and now started the exercises.
I would like to share my first core experiences with you. At first, the core point was a bit elusive sort of fluctuated forward and back. Until I got the hang of it, I practiced in front of a mirror and touching with my thumbs and index fingers my brow and temples, pretended that the image in the mirror is teaching me to find the core point. This may sound a bit crazy but it worked for me.
As is mentioned in the book, my already turbo dreamer mind went to warp speed, I 've been bombarded by lucid dreams at night, some funny others real scary.
I was also feeling sore in many places but on closer observation, I realized that these are old tension spots that I have become accustomed to them and I ignored them for a long time.
Obviously, I did have my doubts if I was actually in the core point but now I have that cleared. Last week I did a session on one of my collegues at work. She was suffering from severe laryngitis. She had just finished a course of antibiotics but she was getting worse, she was in pain and very hoarse.
I started with basic\supercharging which was very soothing, then I decided to switch to the core breath. Suddenly she sat straight, her eyes stared and she remained motionless(before she was a little fidgety)
I was barely touching her throat with my fingertips looking for interesting things(wombed throat)The 'things' came not visually but tactile vibrations touching my fingers.
Later she described it as if her throat was melting, pain gone and voice improved.
I met her 3 days later and she was 100% OK
