I have viewed the first two CDs of the Supercharging 5-CD course so far, and am amazed by Alain's ability to see the colors that the students are visualizing. So, attendance at a live workshop is obviously preferable to just seeing it via camera. But, I consider that I'll get my money's worth anyway.

Here is a suggestion, both for Alain and for CD viewers: the samples of the colors that are to be visualized can be given the translucent quality that Alain instructs students to visualize by holding the color sheet up to a strong white light shining on the back of the sheet. That is, the light illuminates the white back side of the color sheet, and the student looks at the front side.

That image could be presented in the CD also, for the benefit of CD viewers. For each color, have one whole sheet with only that color on it, shine a white light on the back side, and film the front side. That doesn't work for the metallic colors and the mother-of-pearl color, of course, but it would help if sheets of those colors could be shown brightly iluminated. 20 seconds of presentation per color, accompanied by comments by Alain about what to notice, should suffice.

Jim Farmer,
Excellent thought, yet the colors emerge as rather opaque as opposed to translucent, at least for me.
Frustrating! Hmmmmmmmmmm...

So I went through my stones, cut slices of each color shown and named on the 12 color sheet, lapped them down to mere slivers, circles of transclucent color, mounted them in the correct silver or gold, depending on the stone, and attached a silver or gold ring on two ends of the mountings, not the stone itself.

I strung them in the correct order as given by Alain on a very strong chain. (Ihave parrots, I am sure you understand.)

When I finished, I burnished everything but the parrot attached to the OTHER side of the chain/stone circle. There is no closure, as the entire chain is continous. I made sure the chain and stones were long enough to get on and off, if for some reason I went crazy, and there it is. Not hard to do, accurate color and if ya want, I kin thro in a parrot who is positive it is emerald green.

Its fun, too.

Thanks for the idea,
zeneagle

Hi Zen
I'm catching up on lots of back posts, and thought I'd bring this one forward. I would love to know which stones you used for the various colors! That is, I'd love this info unless a certain parrot demolished your handiwork, lol... Thanks!
