My Dad has watched the supercharging DVD and cannot see the colors within himself for the 12 color meditation. He can see the colors outside of his body but when he tries to place them within he cannot see the colors. Has anyone known anybody with this problem? Any suggestions?

Remember what Alain says about holding the attitude of "allowing." Sometimes I visualize myself as a three year old smiling, playful, inquisitive child interacting with the colors (fountain of color generated within or enveloping luminous cloud of color without, as the case may be), attitude of adventure, gratitude, joy, experience of the sacred--see if any of these attitudes 'resonate' with him. Apart from attitude, use of props--wrap oneself in blanket of the problematic color (start with white bedsheet?). If this makes him laugh, all the better!! And lastly--don't get discouraged if it takes weeks to really "get it"(and it may take weeks)--trust in the process and work with the process--it's definitely worth the effort

How is he trying to place them within?
When I started out running colors I went thru many different techniques.
One that worked well for me was:
Have him imagine his body as a shell, an empty vessel. Since he can see the colors outside his body, have him open the top of his head and hold a "paint" can full of the color, say white, over his head and slowly tilt the can and pour the color (paint) into the top of his head. Maybe then he can see it filling up his feet/ legs/ torso, etc.

there are others if this doesn't work.
