I have been practising the 12 color meditation twice a day. I try to do it before I go to sleep at night, but lately I have been really tired, and find I fall asleep at about gold..
In the morning I get up about 5am to make breakfast for my husband and see him off to work, and then I usually lay down for another hour. I try to do the 12 colors then, after I see him off, but again I often dont get beyond gold. I'm just curious, can I just pick up at yellow the next time I do the meditation? ;-) I am getting pretty good at feeling and 'seeing' the first 6 colors fill me, but the last 6 dont do so well yet.. not surprising, I have not practised them as much.. would it work to do a few extra meditaions using just the last 6 colors? since I cant seem to stay awake for 12.. :-D or would that be a waste of time to skip the first 6? Its strange, I even try doing the meditation sometimes during the day, and find right about silver or gold I get distracted and either dont finish all 12, or have to bring my attention back to it.. I wonder why its so hard for me to make it through the last six? ;-) (note: I'm not so much concerned as I am curious why this might be happening like this.. any thoughts? ) :-) Pennie |

Pennie, it happens a lot to me, to get sleepy.
If you really wont to do it, don't to it in your bed...at night I do it before going to bed, in the morning I do it on the subway. I only do it in the bed if I can't sleep, and it seldon happens. That's the way it is with me...and it seems to be same way for u. Wilson Wilson Wilson |

I'm a week into the colour meditation following the London workshop last weekend. I have a sort of similar situation to Pennie.
I spend an hour when I wake up and get through all 12 colours fine. This feels good and solid. I try and do the second session when I go to bed, but fall asleep during the first 6 colours, so I also feel that colours 7-12 are not getting so much attention. As I'm really only doing an hour and a bit a day, does that mean I keep going beyond 21 days to get them embedded? The colours I find most difficult are green and blue green. I'm wondering whether I should spend extra time with them on their own? Is the process complete when I can easily 'bring in' all 12 colours? Actually I really enjoy the morning session, so in no particular hurry to complete! I'd welcome any thoughts/guidance. |

If you fall asleep doing the colors, when you wake up just finish the sequence. If you find one color more difficult than another, yes you can do that color for several breaths worth before going on to the next color.
Going 1 time through all 12 colors should only take you 5 to 10 minutes. I don't understand why it is taking you an hour +. Alain Herriott instructor (advanced QT classes) |

Alain,
Ah, just 5-10 mins am and pm!!! That's no problem. I had misunderstood that we needed to do 5 mins per colour!!! Though looking at the SC video last night I realised I was probably on the wrong track. Oh well, I've done two weeks of an hour in the morning, and rather less in the evening so perhaps the colours are fairly well embedded by now. I'll reduce my time for the final week, and gain an hour a day! Actually I've really enjoyed the morning session, so it's not been a hardship. |

My question is about the colors themselves. I'd like to know what each color represents. For example, through the Super Charge DVD, I learned that Silver is used for bone, muscle, tendons, and connective tissue. Gold is for organs, eyes, liver, skin, stomach. And Copper is for neurological and cardiovascular. What about the other 9 colors? Does anyone have this info, or know where I can find it?
Thanks |

Hi Bonnie, I got a hand out with the DVD, there is an explanation on the colors, all 12 colors, in the hand out. If you did not received one, ask administration to send it to you.

In watching the Supercharging DVD, Alain comments that the copper color is supposed to be like coins. Am I supposed to visual just the color of the coins or copper in a coin shape? If coin shape, are they supposed to be like a pile of coins, no spaces in between, or a layer of coins with spaces in between? Also, are the other metal colors, silver and gold, supposed to be visualized in the same manner? I've been practicing every day and don't want to be doing it wrong.

Hi Chris
When I do the 12 color meditation, I visulize myself, my body, as being entirely the color I am visulizing.. when I come to copper, I think of the color of brand new pennies, but I see myself, my body/shape as that color, and visulize that I am that color through and through as well.. when it comes to the last 6 colors which are spose to be exterior colors, I visulize jumping into a vat or pool of that color, and then the color sinks in until I am that color solidly, through and through as well.. I spose Alain would have the last word though on exactly how it is to be done.. ;-) :-) Pennie |

Cris, it's the color you're after, not any specific shape. In my "mind's eye," my visual field fills with color...Sometimes it moves in various forms like paint running down a wall, but no specific shapes other than that. Maybe not thinking "coin" would help, and concentrate just on the color alone, without considerations of shapes.
I hope this helps. Ali Practitioner and Instructor http://healinghandsminnesota.com Turn your face to the sun -- The shadows fall behind. |

Yes, as Ali says it is the color not the object. If you view the video again it is quite well explained. I suggest "like a new penny" because they are copper colored and are shiney and bright when new. This is just to give you an idea of the color, thats all.

Thank you. It was hard to shape them like coins; the colors wanted to ooze. I should have been letting them ooze. I also should know by now that if it doesn't feel right, it's not. ;-)

Is your energy a loud thought or an allowed thought? http://qtouch.org |
My favorite part of that meditation is the copper, silver, and gold. When I say them to myself I run them together like coppersilvergold. It was the same when I learned the alphabet. For years I thought LMNOP was one letter. Anyway, I visualize the metallic trio as shiney flakes swirling together in an energetic harmony. Great Stuff.

Hi
I am finding that it is taking me between 15 - 20 minutes to do the 12 colour meditation. I realise that this is longer than usual and wonder if there is a way I can shorten the time? I don't move onto the next colour until I can see in my mind'eye my entire body as the colour and feel the vibration of the colour feel my body. Am I being too particular about this process? My question is: Has my body absorbed the colour just by my intention to do so? If so that would shorten the process down to the suggested 5 - 10 minutes... Thanks in advance Red Everyday gets better and better. |
