Hi

I am working with a lady who has 2 prolpased discs in her lower back.

I have just started reading the SC book and note Alain's preference to sandwich or triangulate the area that needs the energy. But in Richards book he says it is better to use two hands side by side for a back issue because if you sandwich the area from the front and back a lot of energy gets absorbed by the organs (from the front) ... so what is the best approach?

Many Thanks for any help

Best Paul

Paul

Hi Paul
I go for side by side but I also would align the hips and occipital first so that you got some orientation for the follow ups . You may find a lot more vertebreas out of lign and it will help to QT every vertebrea back in to its natural position. One other thing, place one hand on the sacrum and the other on C1 and send 10 to 15 minutes.

hope this helps

Einar

Hi Paul,
Yes, what Einar said.
Also remember the importance of intention. You can do QT long distance. You can do QT without the use of your own hands at all.
Think of where the energy meets and your own intention for the session.

Side by side and sandwich are pretty much the same thing. Triangulating is for a client that has a problem in an area that you don't want to touch or the client would feel uncomfortable with if you did touch. For instance a weeping wound or the genital area.
