I have studied the Quantum Touch book, and am considering getting the Supercharging dvd set. I'd like to know if the Supercharging DVD can be fully appreciated without having studies the basic QT DVDs first, or if familiarity with the book is sufficient.

Is there anyone in the New Orleans area that would like to join a study group for the DVD?
thanks

Your really want to understand the basic work well first. Then it is appropriate to move to the next level thus the SC video. Understand that the SC video will teach you a lot but it does not replace a actual class.

Rob, the catch is "fully appreciated". Supercharging requires good familiarity with basic QT techniques, so I would certainly recommend taking at least a video workshop first. Both the basic live workshop and basic video workshop offer different insights and, more importantly, an interactive experience in learning the basic techniques than does working by book alone.

You'll gain insight from just the Supercharging DVDs, but "fully appreciated", IMO, won't come until you've done a workshop. From there, it's clear that the SC DVDs themselves only go part of the way. The instruction in the SC course is far more interactive than can be imparted from DVD alone.

I agree with Trane. To "fully appreciate," one must fully follow the path. I studied the book, watched the video workshop, attended a live workshop, watched the SC DVD, then attended a SC workshop. Next steps for me will be the Core DVD, as soon as it's released, then that workshop, then Core 2.... And there's the retreats.... You get the picture, I want full advantage of everything QT. I've been participating in Group Practice and Healing Circles in my area and the Healing Circle chat here.

That said, I've read some amazing results from people just reading the book.

Alain, you say that the supercharging workshop does not replace the actual class. I would appreciate if you could detail the differences between the two. Sorry to say, but there's no way I could get to a live workshop and I will have to settle for the DVD. Could I learn to "get twice as much done in the same amount of time" and "generate far longer lasting results from sessions" plus other benefits from the DVD as from the live workshop?

Having someone watch you do the processes and correcting things as they occur is what happens in a live class. You can get the concepts from the DVD and there are a number of things that you can fully understand from the DVD as well. That said it is difficult to know that you are doing certain parts correctly unless you are observed and then corrected.

If it was a choice between not being able to get the information at all I would choose to get the DVD because at least you would be exposed to the ideas and begin to apply the concepts. This in and of itself is beneficial and I believe would help you improve your abilities with QT.

Hi, I was waiting for Alain's answer.
I think that, if you watch the DVD carefuly once, twice, chances are that you will do everything right.
I wtched 3 times...when I took CT I asked Alain if I was doing it right, he said I was doing right.
So, watching the DVD is a good start.

I just wanted to weigh in that I had gotten the dvd set on Supercharging a few weeks ago and can recommend it to anyone interested in furthering QT! Some of us can't afford a workshop, but with some practice I am sure most of the techniques can be mastered by watching the dvd. I think the forthcoming book might even be more helpful, comparing the QT book with the SC dvd set. I get things more readily having them in writing and seeing charts, and the dvd set was not perfectly clear on some issues that could benefit with a clear diagram. That said, it was very helpful to hear Alain's obsevations of how the attendees were doing and their mistakes.

Thanks so much for your replies, Alain, Mr. Wilson and robschoen. I just got the supercharging DVDs and am very excited about it. I already saw the first session and would like to ask you Alain the following: I understand that you are suppose to "feel" the chakras spinning, however, how does one feel the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th ones, OUTSIDE of the body, spinning? I can visualize it, spin it but not "feel" it.

Baileh, for me it's all a matter of extending my awareness until I sense the presence of the field. At that point, it's a matter of manipulating it. It takes some practice and, especially, stillness. Make sure you're relaxed and don't stress about it all. Just explore and see what you feel.

Trane is basically correct. The nature of these outside chakras is that it is subtle to sense them, hence the live class. That said with practice they are sensateable if you take your time and very gradually extend your awareness bit by bit. If you don't physically sense them, visualizing is a good beginning. You may note that after visualizing for a while you can also feel them. Energy follows thought and as you sense for subtle energies and begin to interact with them your abilities increase and so you perceive more.

Practice, take your time and look for feelings not unlike the energy you feel between your hands when feeling energy that way, yet slightly more subtle and with a somewhat different shape.
