Have any of you read the "Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East"? There is a 5 volume set and a recent 6th volume which was written by Baird T. Spalding starting in the 1920's or 1930's. Many of the teachings are ancient but Mr Spalding was "ahead of his times" when he wrote these books.

Many stories included are about healing, materializing, our true nature as spiritual beings, etc. They are based on the travels of Mr. Spalding and his crew as they travelled in the Far East and came in contact with Jesus, Buddha, and other Masters that could walk on water, materialize food while dining, etc.

Great reading and helps us to "open our minds" to possibilities as spiritual beings.

Thanks. I read the 5 volume set, didn't know that a 6th volume has been published, loved them and have wondered ever since how many people on this planet can actually do those things. Things like 'instantly' manifesting meals or dematerialising on the first floor and rematerialising on another floor of a building, etc.

In many situations in our lives, when we look back at some of our accomplishments, we have had some of these same experiences as these Masters did. I think their conditioning to see "Spirit" in every living thing...the air we breathe, the food we eat, the rocks, trees,etc....everything is part of the success of their accomplishments. Knowing that we can do these things and keeping in balance is also important.
One of my co-workers was so enthralled when I told him about the content of the books that he decided to do a book study group on these books. He hasn't read them yet! So I hope he does as I love to get out my set of books and review them when I am feeling out of sorts!

Yes that is true - I have experienced some amazing stuff - occasionally. I do feel that the energy is shifting and there is more info out there now to explain how things are done on the quantum level.

Why don't we start a study group online - even a discussion on here would be good

Hi Susie,

Would love to do a discussion here but am pretty busy at present. One of my friends opened a clinic about one month ago and is offering QT, Reiki, Polarity, Reflexology, etc. so I have been over there 3 afternoons per wk and doing treatments to help. There are 10 Practitioners in all different energy treatments so our business is slow at present. Plus I have many cats as pets and also will probably be moving into another house in a month or so.

Will keep you posted though if my friend starts book discussion on Life and Teaching of Masters of the Far East ...and let you know how it is going! Many of the Truths that are spoken of back in the 1930's when these books were written are applicable to todays energy/events. It's amazing how Baird Spalding was so ahead of his time even back then. In book 3 Jesus is telling how to make our chakras conductors of energy and an amazing story regarding his practice of it.

I read the same books about ten years ago. The books in question tell us that we can become.

To reach at the level of a master is our destinies, yours and mine.

These books were among the first that I ever read on the possibilities that are present within us. That was in the early 70's and the books, I believe, we written in the 20's.

Truth:
"Truth is the same regardless of the book that presents it or the teacher who proclaims it."

Accomplishment:

About negative and positive thoughts:
