I can't speak to the specific situation. There are religious rights and parental rights to consider -- but a child died. It is too, too sad and my condolences go to the family.

Quantum-Touch and other energy healing methods are wonderful healing tools but so are the more traditional methods. When things have gone so far that intervention is necessary, by all means see your MD, take meds, get surgery, whatever it takes while continuing the alternative methods as support. Sometimes, we need lots of tools.
