Actually, I do not believe in them. Always considered it a bit too far fetched.
After reading the next link, I don't know what to think anymore. Anyway, this is equally fascinating as ghost houses, alright... Smiler
Some would consider this entertainment Smiler

PS. Does give you second thoughts on the military helicopters visiting the crop circles, doesn't it?...

Why is it far-fetched? Think about it for a minute, you believe that, of the vastness of the universe and beyond, humans on Earth are the only (allegedly Wink) intelligent form of life? That's pretty far-fetched, in my opinion, and rather self-centered as well.

LOL. Big Grin

I have a philosophy on alien life forms...
When anyone can prove to me they DON'T exist, I'll believe they don't.
Just the other night while watching the Perseid meteor showers in my area, Jeremy and I witnessed four silver, non-blinking, erratically-moving, small, bright objects in the night sky. They were doing hair-pin turns at breakneck speeds, wayyyy above the tropopause (highest atmospheric level of the earth), and hovering in place for various periods of time. We know what we saw. Wink
People are always saying, "prove to me they exist," and repeatedly, we get occurrences that can't be explained, except but by the theory of extraterrestrial life forms flying around "out there." So that's why I adapted my philosophy on it...too much is out there, too many eye witnesses, too many videos that can't be called hoax or fake, too many crop circles that leave no trace of any kind of land access with laser-point accuracy...
It's fascinating, either way you go with it, though! Smiler

Somehow, I've always thought it would be great if they do exist, but then it just seemed too fantastic.
So I just told myself, they probably do not exist.
It is not that I did not want to believe. I suppose I tried to be "realistic". Tried to make a normal impression to the outer world Smiler

However recent events are starting to pile up: crop circles, ufo's, descriptions of strange beings, ... There is simply no denying that anymore.
Why is the UK sending black aircraft to crop circles if they tell the public they are man made?
Something IS going on...

Only people who refuse to believe, will tell that any proof is a hoax...

So do I believe? I suppose I do. Man cannot make crop circles. Something is out there for sure... There are too many things, that cannot be explained by "human logic" or "common sense".
I am quite fascinated...

Michel

Do "they" exist or not? Hmm, reminds me of when I first heard of the dowsing, the sixth sense, OBE's, ...

It all sounds so fantastic the first time. You want to believe, because it gives hope and because it is so fascinating, but as experience is lacking, doubt starts to come in.

When I first read about pendulums and dowsing, I thought that that was impossible and that the author was insane Smiler (this read was my "intro" into the paranormal). Can't describe my surprise when my keys started moving at the first attempt! The answers have never seemed very right, unfortunately, but it still amazes me.

I remember that there was a point where I almost gave up on the existence of the "third eye". Then one night, I tapped with imaginary fingers on my third eye, while half asleep. I saw white flashes at once and was convinced that this third eye really does exist.

Same for OBE's. By pure "accident" I had one and I loved it. Best part of my life Smiler OBE's are very real. It was only then that I was 100% sure.

Same for UFO's and aliens, perhaps. I'd love them to exist and it is getting hard to deny that. It would be so fascinating...

Promise me to record it on video, if it happens again.. This is so interesting..

I'm with you here. There is simply too much going on.
Sigh, I am simply lacking time. Have to do an EVP in Sas van Gent, make photographs of the space ships in our back yard, visit crop circles and still keep my employer happy at the same time Smiler
