Hey, this is one i came up with a while ago and thanks to my new friend Ulea, i've decided to start posting my poems again.
(try and guess the meanings?"

Fight For Light

why do we bother
to fight for the light?
to see it again
to do what is right?

if hope gives us freedom
then why dispair
and reach for something
we know is not there

to kill all evil
to possibly die
in our fight for the light
in the middle of nigh'

our paths are unseen
or so that is said
but to give up all rights
we're better off dead!

we draw out our weapons
and battle our foes
for when it will end
nobody knows

is today the dawning
for all that is right?
will we be able
to fight for the light?

the light is a path.. a life choice... a way of living... the light signifies all that is good and positive and constructive... a paradise configuration.

you fight for it because its a part of u, a part of ur dreams... a part of your hopes... it is what defines why your decisions are made and the intentions behind them

you reach for it because u know it is there.. just not tangible... not something that can be seen often... not in the world we live in anyway... every act of kindness... every act of goodwill and love is the fight for the light

and yes... we will never know when the fight will end.. but if we do not fight for it then the world would be a dark place indeed... and we will always fight for the light.. for howe can we not?
