Again, a channeling session with Kutumi.This time, I asked, "why is it that I can recall my Jap. life in such detail that more comes, each time I tell it. yet, I have tried v. often but I can't get to where I was before that one. Did I do much evil in that life or did I come out of the "blackness of infinite dark?"
Instead of replying, he started talking about a pastorial scene.A stream with young swans, lines of colourful trees and beyond, a meadow with a carpet of flowers, Children laughing and playing, old men rocking and dreaming in the sun housewives baking and feeding the babies.
On and on and on it went till, inspite of the wonder of his description, we started to get bored. I was glad when someone popped another question.
I was annoyed! In the car going home, I asked if anyone could make any sense of that.Couldn't he answer me or was something too horrible for him to tell me or had he just lost it?
Then a great light flashed!
"PAST LIVES ARE NOT CARVED IN STONE OR BOUNDED WITH STEEL!"
"He was giving me CHOICE! We always have CHOICE, even over past lives!'Do you really want to have come out of that darkness or would you prefer to have come from such a peaceful village?'"
I was elated and laughing! I never tried to recall that life again.

Every choice we make changes our future outcome. Whether it be emotion, thought, or action, it changes some intricate part of the path we're on to take us somewhere different than what we "saw" before.
Also, with past lives, we are all a part of all past lives, in essence. Once we cross over into the Light, to be One with All-That-Is (God), we become aware of everything, everyone, at every time. Therefore, we can access ANY soul's experience in the past and feel/experience it as our own, because in essence, it IS a part of our own, if we're One. I came across that information when I started having very vivid dreams of Egypt, and of being royalty, which started when I was around 9 years of age. Remember Nefertiti? I had vivid dreams of being HER when Tut and Akhenaton were murdered, and then what happened the night she was murdered. I remember the smell of the night air coming in through the palace windows, the beauty of the lights twinkling in the city around me, as I felt the blood pooling around me and everything went dark, then light again, and I was Home. I relived this through these dreams over and over, and it bothered me so badly that I kept quiet about it, but later had to ask about it. Was my soul connected to her? Yes, absolutely. But did my soul actually dwell in her body at that time? Doubtful. I mean, how can I really, honestly say, "guess what, I was Nefertiti in a past life" without others arguing that no, they were - especially if their remembrances were just as vivid and profound as mine are?
We're all One, and we're all privy to the same exact experiences as any other soul, and we pick up pieces of them as we merge with God after the physical existence is over. Our life experiences become part of the Book of Life, so to speak, of all the lives that have ever been lived.

Interesting Ashley! Gives deeper meaning to All Is One. I say that all the time but there are soooo many levels that hadn't ocurred to me. Thanks for showing me yet another.
