I had wondered about posting this but it was a time that resistance showed up v. clearly and painfully.
I was dong advanced counselor training, at the Scientology center in Melbourne My teeth were so bad, I decided to have them out, immediately.
When I woke up, I saw blood on the wall and knew the dentist must of had a v. tough job!
My face was all swollen and as time went by the terrible pain mounted. I wondered what the instructor would say or do.
He held up a pair if tweezers, near my jaw and then pulled them away, saying,repeatedly, "RESIST THAT!"
The pain, which I would say was 9.5 on our system shot up to maybe 29.5 as the resistance and pain were activated. I would have fainted on the floor, except for people holding me. I felt like I had let go of everything!
After what seemed a long time, I could look at the situation, objectively. Those are just tweezers, he is my friend not a dentist and I am not having an extraction repeat. All resistance and pain dropped out! My gums hardened fast and in a couple of days, I had teeth in and could eat soft food.
I have wondered how long that would have taken if he had not released my resistance, which, of course, I had had all the time of the operation

Thanks for telling this it's so important to let go and relax into a (any) situation. Have to remind this when visiting my dentist.
