In memory of my best friend CHRISSE who died yesterday of cancer between her breasts: Single parent, age 49; five kids.
The doctor thanked me several times for sitting and being with her. How could I be thanked for something of so great a privledge?
"Its no surprise, and yet, I can't hold back the tears."
Here's what I wrote on the hospital notice board,

"Her laughter was a melody, that I'll remember long. It played upon my heart strings, became my favorite song."

"And, seven lovely angels took another angel Home!"

"Thank you Chrisse for being my friend!"

Life can be so very cruel...

Sometimes I try to find consolidation in believing that after one's death, one still exists, but not visible to the normal eye.
So many people report having seen relatives during an NDE, free of any physical limitations.
If I look at it this way, then death is a transition to another sort of life, but not the end of it. I hope you can understand what I am trying to say here. My sincere apologies if you find this illogical, but reasoning like this really helps me.

Special thanks,family for all those kind words and Chris's holding. I have seen a lot of transitions but never of one of whom I was so fond. She was the darling of everyone here, from the Matron down!
One more thing, I might have put on that tribute,
Many years ago I met a real Maori prince, who was known as a rat-bag and a Maori Princess who was common in her aggressive speech and actions.

Now I have met and understood and loved an ordinary Maori who was, every inch, a real, eternal Princess!
