Hope I'm in the right spot for another battery story. We slept on the boat last night. No wind, hot and humid, with lots of mosquitos. We have a battery powered gadget that makes noises mosquitos don't like and drives them off. The batteries were dead, and we had no replacements so I decided to try recharging them. My husband, who doesn't REALLY believe in QT or any energy healing modality couldn't believe I was trying anything so insane. Until I put the batteries back and the little gadget started making noises again! Now that was one suprised guy! End of story is that as we were getting ready for bed I realised that in all the excitement I had flicked the gadget off after testing it to see if it would work - but we had no mosquitos! Apparently there was enough energetic charge in the air to send them away for the night! I also had a request for a healing on my husband's sore arm. No more disbelievers in our house.

OK, there's too many of these stories going around, I guess I'm just going to have to leave a flashlight on until the batteries run down just so I can give it a go!

Just some FYI...

If you run alkaline batteries till they are dead. 30 minutes later it is likely when you turn it on it will magically have some juice again for a few minutes. This happens naturally because as the battery gets used up bubbles form internally and the conductivity drops. When you give them a break, they cool down, the bubbles go away, and the battery is able to create power again. So if you're using regular alkaline, make sure they are really, really dead.

You're right, Anto. When a battery's gone 'dead' you can turn it on later and get some power BUT not enough to explain the results posted recently.
