Hi,
i am not advertising this therapy, only sharing it with you Smileras i have found out it really does work! After asking a few of you in the chat-room if they had heard of it i was surprised when some said yes & it works Smiler

So i thought i would share my info with you, as i said, it is up to the individual if they want to try it but it makes interesting reading on the links i am giving.

After you read the links i am sending you will probably think, thats it, Mo has finally lost the plot!

I must admit, after i read about it ( a friend sent me the link ) i thought it was crazy, silly & another silly "Wonder Cure ", howevever, i told a friend in America who recently had part of his lung removed because of cancer, he immediately sent out for a bottle of sunflower oil, well, after a week of doing oil-pulling he reported the veins in his ankles were getting lighter, the brown age spots on his arms & hands were nearly gone, his blood sugar level has dropped,( mild diabetic) he feels great! His wife had a persistent cough, this has now almost gone.Large vein in her leg has got lighter in colour.

Ok, i was a little amazed but still not sure, but then my sister told me she had started doing it too,( i was amazed ) as you know she was critically ill a few weeks ago with Pneumonia, she almost died a few times, but thankfully she pulled through......she at first was very skeptical about this therapy, but after just over a week she is reporting the same, veins getting lighter, skin feels much smoother & she can actually cough & bring up the rubbish in her chest, this is something she has never been able to do ( Asthma, C.O.P.D )

The reason i haven't mentioned it before is because i was very skeptical & needed proof, well, it's too much of a coincidence to be hearing the same good results from people in all parts of the world i think.

I'm in no way advising anyone to try this, that is up to them but i wanted to share this peculiar, even weird, crazy therapy with others....have i tried it myself? Yes, i started yesterday, no, it doesnt leave a horrible greasy taste in the mouth, it also makes the tongue really clean. My sister & i use Flora Sunflower oil or Sesame oil, it must be pure, do NOT!! swallow!! Eeker

Read the instructions carefully if anyone feels they would like to try it, it cant hurt you.

Hi dear Mo,

No you have not lost the plot, it does work! I know someone who swears with this and thanks for telling, I have a bottle of pure oil at home for some time now (actually months) and have not started to use it, does not appeal to me so much but I am sincerely going to at least "think" about doing it.

Love and Light
Pinky

ps. and while we are talking about at a bit jakky cures here is an other one, never tried it I must confess but I heard it seems to be very good too. Big Grin

Hi Molinda. Yes I heard about this quite a few months ago. I have seen a bunch of discussions boards and they agree it does work. I got the oil and tried it for a short while then I stopped. There was a huge discussion group with many questions being answered by an expert. He said that it can cause tooth fillings to fall out (even if the teeth were improved by the oil pulling) and I figured that right now I could not afford for that to happen since I want to avoid dental bills. But I think I will try this once the tooth situation is OK. And yes Pinky urine therapy is well known and probably works. Trevor

Gee Companion, I just checked out Mo's first site up there (oilpulling.com) and they say just the opposite about the teeth:
"It is important to understand that during the oil-pulling/swishing process one's metabolism is intensified. This leads to improved health. One of the most striking results of this process is the fastening of loose teeth, the elimination of bleeding gums and the visible whitening of the teeth."
Maybe he misunderstood "fastening" to mean loosening instead of tightening?

Mornin' MoMo,
The day I read your post I went and bought a bottle of virgin cold-pressed sesame oil.

IT WORKS!

I am losing weight, my teeth are whiter than ever before, my appetite is down to "mmmmm, Yeah, I think I ate today" and the resluts<<<<<<<(Mavis did it!) to my immune system are wonderful.
The allergies are streaming off of my pudge, the pudge is leaving the premises, thank you,
and all round, I find this to be a very helpful and easily done "thing".

I do have one small dissension with it, however.

I broke out into hives all over my polka dots, which are in decline too, but OMG! I itch.

My face resembles the craters on the moon, my nose is now a round ball of confusion, but the skin covering this mess is GORJAMUS!.

I was scheduled for a four quarter gingivitis operation, but the gums are healing very well, the dentist doesn't know why, and I am very happy that he has postponed the op.

Except for the allergy to sesame of course. I think it is working very well.
(Now I know what the birds feel when they fling something gooey at someone.)
I keep accidently spitting the oil.
On everything.

I almost stopped doing oil pulling because of the hives, but then thought well, perhaps this is only the way one feels after any treatment. First, lousier, then so much better.

Thank you MoMo so very much for posting this message to those of us who really needed it, yet didn't know of it.

Love and healing to you and yours,
z

Dear Mo, thank you for posting this and Pinky get that bottle out and give it a go Smiler I rushed out and bought a bottle of sunflower oil and today will be day 4 for me.

On day 1 I barely made it to the 20 minutes, but it's now easier as I've realized I'm not going to splatter it all over the place, so I potter around, rather than clock watch in the bathroom.

As Zen said it really does decrease your appetite, maybe it's because your mouth gets such a workout with all the swishing it tells your brain you've already eaten.

My husband is going to try it today. Will keep you posted. Bye for now, Kerry

Mo - So good to hear that Pat is doing so well xx

zen if your allergic to the Seasame why don't you try the sunflower oil???

Hives and your skin reaction can further stress you out.

This sounds very interesting. I'm going to have to think about it.

Hi Ven and thanks! I didn't think of that aspect.
I am planning on trying another oil as soon as possible, but this is what I have at the moment. I rather thought that perhaps the oil pull would help straighten out allergies, so why not give it a go?

(scuse me, gotta scratch)

thanks for your suggestion, I will soon follow it.

I'm on day two.
I too am using what I have on hand, will get some sunflower when I go out later today.
Yesterday I tried sesame. Bad, bad bad. Too strong (for me) and after 15 minutes it hadn't emulsified.
Today I used a refined safflower oil for 19 minutes. Much easier and it came out milky white.
I'll let y'all know what happens.

ABOUT VODKA Smiler

Who knew?!!!!

1. To remove a bandage without pain
saturate the bandage with vodka.
The stuff disolves adhesive.

2. To clean the caulking around bathtubs and
showers, fill a trigger-spray bottle with vodka, spray the caulking, let set five minutes and wash clean.

The alcohol in the vodka kills mold and mildew.

3. To clean your eyeglasses,

simply wipe the lenses with a soft,
clean cloth dampened with vodka.
The alcohol in the vodka cleans the glass and kills germs.

4. Prolong the life of razors by filling a cup with vodka
and letting your safety razor blade
soak in the alcohol after shaving.

The vodka disinfects the blade and prevents rusting.

5. Spray vodka on wine stains,

scrub with a brush, and then blot dry.

6. Using a cotton ball, apply vodka to your face

as an astringent to cleanse the skin and tighten pores.

7. Add a jigger of vodka to a 12-ounce bottle of shampoo.

The alcohol cleanses the scalp, removes toxins from hair,
and stimulates the growth of healthy hair.

8. Fill a sixteen-ounce trigger-spray bottle with vodka

and spray bees or wasps to kill them.

9. Pour one-half cup vodka
and one-half cup water into a Ziploc freezer bag

and freeze for a slushy, refreshing ice pack for aches,
pain or black eyes.

10.. Fill a clean, used mayonnaise jar
with freshly packed lavender flowers,

fill the jar with vodka, seal the lid tightly
and set in the sun for three days.
Strain liquid through a coffee filter,
then apply the tincture to aches and pains.

11. To relieve a fever, use a washcloth

to rub vodka on your chest and back as a liniment.

12. To cure foot odor,

wash your feet with vodka.

13. Vodka will disinfect

and alleviate a jellyfish sting.

14. Pour vodka over an area affected with poison ivy

to remove the urushiol oil from your skin.

15. Swish a shot of vodka over an aching tooth.

Allow your gums to absorb some of the alcohol to numb the pain.

It's just alcohol. Common ETOH. None of the above uses for vodka involve ingestion, so why not just spend about a buck and a half at Walgreen's and buy a bottle of 91% isopropyl alcohol? It will do all these jobs as well as vodka, except for one.

Do NOT use any form of alcohol on your eyeglasses, because even glass lenses these days are likely to be coated with anti-reflective coating. The alcohol will ruin your glasses. If you have plastic lenses, the alcohol will ruin those too, but even more quickly!!

Vodka is expensive, and isopropyl is cheap.

A word to the wise...no offense to you, Mo.
