Today Oprah is hostessing John Edwards, the medium and the lady that plays on "The Medium" TV program on Oprah's show.

Tomorrow, the 16th, Oprah is revisiting with feedback from last weeks showing of "The Secret" and good to see she is back on track with her metaphysical programs as she did in the past!

I can view Oprah's show at about 4:00PM here in Springfield, MO and then again at 9:00PM the same show airs on another TV channel.

Hi.
My sister and I went to one of his seminars when he was in Denver, CO several years ago. It was a large audience - more than what we expected and were actually a little disappointed - we felt our chances of a reading were slim or next to nothing.

John didn't come directly to us or our part of the room we were sitting in. We were on the very back row of seats in the room. There were a few people standing up along the back wall but it was more of a walkway where they were. He did several reading over the two hours. Many people left early as they felt they weren't going to be read. At the end of the two hours he said this would be the last one and we felt let down also. However, he all of a sudden said that he was going to the very back of the room and had the names of Ruth or Ruby. Well, our mom's name is Ruby and her twin sister's name is Ruth. Before we could raise our hand or get his attention, some lady in the section to the right of us, yelled out - could you mean Ruben. John went over to her and tried to get confirmation on what he was saying from her. It seemed like she was trying make things fit with what he was putting out there. It fit our family perfectly. He talked about mom's dad, Joe, who died in a plane crash when she was 12 yrs old - he was a barn stormer. He also mentioned a brother of Joe's who died in a plane crash plus other stuff.

We felt that they were trying to talk to us and this lady was taking our session. We left the event with a very sad feeling but believed. It never dawned on us to get up and move over to the section where John and the lady were talking and try to get his attention. Although we weren't assigned seats - you sat wherever you wanted and people were walking around the back of the room during the event, we stayed in our seat as we were raised to mind our manners.

In the end after discussing it, we decided that if mom or A. Ruthie had said to John you're in the wrong section talking to the wrong person and he did come over to us, we would have been dumbfounded and speechless sooooo they decided that we would know it was meant for us and not have to look dumb.

Well, that was our experience.

I used to watch John Edwards when he had his morning show for several years. Sorry to hear you didn't get through with messages but you at least knew the family was contacting you all!

I think the Law of Attraction figures in in these situations as so many people have similar situations, family names, etc. that are quite similar....

I watched the Oprah program yesterday. And it was quite good.

I felt like the show was great - a huge step in bringing information to the public! I was thrilled to hear the phrases he used, and that he made sure to say that ANYONE can do this - it's just learning how and having the desire. I have mentioned a few times in various posts that this is possible... Pam, please know that what you experienced is not a loss... they were obviously letting you know they love you. Put yourselves in his shoes - I know that I couldn't deal with that much demand. Take to heart your experience, I believe that is how we learn and grow.

Thanks for sharing that today Oprah will feature discussion from "'The Secret' show" - I will definately watch as I feel getting this information out to everyone is very important for growth!!

Please don't think that we didn't know our loved ones were connecting with us. We actually went to see him for the fun of it as we too had watched his TV show. We just wanted to see what he did in person and neither of us had a need to connect with anyone who had passed over. Just curious. We also hadn't learned about vibration and energy beings until we discovered QT. I think John mentioned the vibrational energy (the ones who passed over have to lower their energy vibration to connect with him) in his segment on the show which also promotes energy healing.

When he said mom and A. Ruthie's name and going to the very back of the room, our mouth's dropped to the floor. Looking back, we laugh about it and think duh! why didn't we get up and move over to where he was talking to the other lady - as she clearly wasn't connecting with the information he was putting out there. Like I said, it never dawned on us to do that. We are glad we went although it was completely different than what we had expected.
