I'm going to Core 1 in Reno!!!

I'm so excited, I'm just BESIDE myself that I'm actually going.

4 months ago I put it out to the universe that I would be going to that class. 3 months ago I called on the off chance that there would be a spot. Haha, yeah right! I was 6'th on the wait list.

I wrote it in my calendar and said, if it's meant to be then somehow a spot will be there, somehow the money will be there and somehow the childcare I need would be there.

This whole time I've just been ok with the likelihood that I wouldn't be going, but I never said "I'm not going" and just left the possibility open.

Well imagine my delight when Genevieve from head office called this morning and offered me a spot in the class! I then spoke to my dad and he offered to pay for my flight!! and THEN I mentioned it to my friend and she offered to provide daycare for my children!!!

Did I mention that I'm excited?!

Well you better get baking dude, cause I'm coming up to granlibakken on Sunday afternoon for a little meet and greet and I WANT MY COOKIES!

Very well then. What kind do you want? I am making two batches (at least): chocolate chip with cinnamon or with curry? They will be a couple of days old, but should still be quite satisfactory by the time you show up.

Gosh, now that I think of it, I had better start taking orders... there were a [b]few[b] people who wanted my baked goods. Good thing I restocked my supplies!

I'm pretty easy going in respect to cookies, or any home made treats for that matter. Although, I've never tried chocolate chip curry cookies before.

Ummm, one thought though. Will they let you on the plane with a tin of cookies?

I am sure that I will have to check them, and keep them in tupperware... I will not even THINK of bribing them with a few cookies. Aw, damn. I just did.

Oh now I remember what I forgot to tell you Jedi, there was a cookie contest worth lots of money...but now I can't remember who was hosting it! It was either a Pillsbury Bake Off or Food Network...Or....??????
