Yes, indeed! You are well along the path!
When I started Zazen, Zen meditation, they told me , "Just Sit!" sounded v. easy. They didn't tell me they meant no fidgenting, no stretching, no moving about to relieve sore limbs, no toilet break!
And above all, NO thinking!
Not so easy, took me about a year.
You know how wonderful it can be when you are there!

have you ever sat and looked at a flower and seen every component... each cell and how the colors change from one to the next, how it sparkles in the sunlight, tiny pin points of light.

have you ever lay down on the grass and smelt its sweet scent and saw the tiny insects move about, heard their tiny body's as they move, seen the sun shine off parts of them

have you ever just sat and enjoyed the beauty in the small things

Ah, what a joy it is, isn't it?
