For minor pains, confront the pain first. How big is it, what color, how massive, where on pain scale. That brings you to confront it! No ducking!
Then use "So What" to soften the resistance and then anything to let go of it, which should be easy after taking away the resistance.
Pain Plus Resistance Equals Suffering! Pain minus resistance equals,So What?
But, unlike handling Non-forgiveness, it's limited!
Few people can says, "So what?" to a toothache but trust the process and get some relief on your way to the dentist.
There are Two principles which will extend the limits of this, by an amazing amount! Taking your ATTENTION on to something else and attending to something you feel is important to you. Or both these at once!

A few years ago, we had a hero fireman. A large truck overturned and a girl was pinned under it by her legs. A brave fireman crawled in, as far as he could and lay there holding her hand and comforting her for about 15 mins. while his mates jacked it up, so he could pull her out!
That truck was raging on fire, which caused both much pain. It could have gone up any minute and taken everyone within range with it!
The fireman, no doubt, was thinking,beneath conscious level,"Fire and pain, so what?" He was using the two helpful things, he had his attention on comforting the girl and that was IMPORTANT to him!
Reckon pain and shock would have fallen on both of them, when they got to hospital!
Yes! He got a medal for bravery!
Next time, Milton Erickson relieves a cancer pain!

That was good Huggie. I'm reminded of the basic emotrance recipe which I have been playing with lately:

Emotional Healing Exercise

1. Call up an old emotion you know well and which you can feel in your body.

2. Where do you feel this in your body? Show me with your hands.

3. Place your hands and your attention there and consider where this energy would want to go. Assist it in softening and beginning to flow through its rightful channels, whatever they may be, all the way through and out.

4. Re‐call the original experience and repeat until it flows instantly and cleanly, and the original emotional pain' is no more.

5. You know the problem is truly healed when instead of pain you experience a pleasurable, charging sensation (the 'energised end state' ‐ beyond mere symptom cessation).

STEVE I'll try that. It is almost the same as the main tech. in emotrance.
After doing QT for 15 mins. I was getting nowhere so I asked patient to soften pain and allow it to move out. After much puff she said "Yes." "Did it move?" "yes!" She still looked unhappy so I asked, "How much?" "Oh About half an inch!" I went back to QT and in a minute her violent headache was gone and the nurse stood goggled-eyed and unbelieving.
