There are so many explainations for this one, 11:11. Some view it as a gateway. Check out:

I have found that when I see these different numbers 111 11:11 1:11 1234 and so on I just take time and if im not driving I will close my eyes and ask the higher power or energy or guide or angel what does it mean? and I sit back and wait for the subtle answer. Ali has a page here in the off topics thats shows the number meanings on one account and it seems to be pretty good.

I, too, see these sequences...have seen the 1:11 or 11:11 combo quite a bit in the past 4-5 years. It seems like every time I glance at the clock, it's one of those combinations, or another "master number" like 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55, etc., etc. & Ali's post (mentioned) was really informative. It's interesting stuff, and there's a LOT of theories on what they could mean.

Me personally? I'm like Linda...if I'm not driving or doing something really involving (mentally and emotionally) at the time, I get still and just ask. Most of the time I get a "welcome back" (audibly, in my head) and a feeling of complete peace. What it means, I have no clue, all I know is that it gives me a moment to breathe and just be. Here lately, that's a wonderful thing! Wink

Its an angel tapping you on the shoulder and saying look at the clock! In numerology the number 11 means enlightenment. Wink

To John...

If you scroll up and read my perception of seeing these combinations quite frequently, you'll note that I've mentioned this pattern occurs, randomly, but very frequently.
I don't work on a computer, nor do I wear a watch all the time. I'll get a notion to glance at the clock, and nearly 9 out of 10 times, it's one of those patterns of numbers...mostly all ones, but sometimes twos, threes, fours, and fives.
The reality is this...it catches our attention. For whatever reason is up to the observer, whether it be angels trying to communicate with us, or just a palindrome making its mark on the human brain's ability to recognize patterns. It still gets our attention.
Some of us don't just have a mental recognition of the number sequences...some have physical sensations associated with those specific times of day, like having goosebumps before you ever look at the clock and see that it reads 1:11 or 11:11 or whatever the combination. Some people, like me, have a calming peace wash over them when they see these combinations. Others in the world claim to receive channeled messages during these times, then look at the clock and notice the patterns of numbers ~ not the other way around. It's significant to people, and nothing at all to others...it doesn't mean only one theory or explanation or perception is right, and all the rest are figments of brain activity and imaginary play, as Trane mentioned.
The beauty of it is we're all different, we come from different backgrounds, and we have different ways of viewing and experiencing the world around us. This is but another way of human uniquity expressing itself. Smiler

Much Love, Light, and Positive Energy always~

I guess we all find significance where we find it, and just because I find no significance in numbers or times of day does not mean that someone else can't find significance in them. I just think that people in general assign too much meaning to things, and we often see what we want to see. Like I said before, this is just my opinion and has no bearing on anyone else's experience.

John ~

If you look at the clock and see a sequence of ones, know that I'm thinking of you and sending you love, distantly. Smiler

If you read down on this page:

http://www.cropcircleconnector.com/2007/yatesbury1/yatesbury2007c.html

there's lots of interesting stuff about 11:11.
One of my most recent experiences happened on Wednesday August the 15th:
I work a 5-hour job on Wednesdays and altho I'm not normally a clock-watcher while I'm at work, I need to keep tabs on the time so that I get my work done in the allotted time.
The first time I looked at the clock it was 11:11. The second time it was 2:22. The third time it was 3:37. Owell, two out of three...
This past Wednesday the first time I looked, it was 1:11. When I left it was 3:33.
Then yesterday Rick and I were heading over to Coos Bay, a 40-minute drive and I knew we were late, but I had no idea what time it actually was so I leaned over to check the clock on the dash and it was...you guessed it, 11:11. For a period several hours, that was the only time I checked. I know - co-inky-dink
Christina
P.S. I was born at 3:33am.

There is a lot of times where I look at the clock and it's 9:11. I know it's not listed anywhere in this post and I am not American, but it seems to me that 9:11 has made it's way into significance. When I do see it, I kinda feel a nudge to make a difference in this world.

Not sure this is the same as what is being talked about in this post, but a 'yes, it is' or a 'no, it isn't' would be great!
