I'm really baffled by this.
I've been experiencing abdominal pain for the past several months. It's not severe, there's no fever, and it doesn't prevent me from doing anything. I went to the doctor last summer, and he did the usual poking around, then had the phlebotomist take blood samples, which were sent to the lab. He called me a few days later and told me that there's nothing wrong. All blood tests negative. I visited my hometown about a month later, and while I was there, I had a "body tuning" from a holistic healer. She gave me a thump on the abdomen, right where the pain had been, and told me that a valve was closed there. (I hadn't even told her about the pain!) It's still going on, and it's happened in some other places. I've discovered that sitting at the computer tends to make it come on, that pressing against the painful area often relieves the pain and creates a nice feeling of coolness, and as always, there's no fever or other alarming symptoms. Just the pain. So, I was thinking, can this be stress-related? Am I doing it, subconsciously? Is it diet-related? Any ideas for how to handle this? |

QT P/I |
It's impossible to make a diagnosis without an exam and evaluation. If the first doctor didn't give you an answer, a re-visit or second opinion would be a good option. It's been going on since last summer, so it deserves another look, IMHO.
Emotions can contribute to most anything, so it can't be ruled out, but if I had persistent abdominal discomfort, I'd follow up with the docs. while doing adjunctive QT. I'll put you on my evening list for a while... (((((((((((((EN))))))))))))) Ali Practitioner and Instructor http://healinghandsminnesota.com Turn your face to the sun -- The shadows fall behind. |

En, I agree with the Ali's suggestion of a 2nd opinion.
A year ago when you experienced stomach troubles by what you believed to be from bacteria on grapes, you mentioned that ever since you became incapacitated for a week by food poisoning (at another time), you have been carrying crystalized ginger and stocked activated charcoal at home. I wonder if there are emotions evolved out of , or related to the food poisoning experience. I am not looking at this from a diagnosis perspective, because diagnosis is not part of QT, but pointing to trying out QT for the incident, than anything else. |

Paule, you have an exceptional memory!
The incident with the grapes was almost certainly due to stress. I'm going through therapy right now, and all the stuff that I'm working through has caused lots of panic attacks (I posted about this on another thread) and frequent upset stomach. I think the grape incident was due to this. The food poisoning experience, though, has made a definite imprint on me, and it's something that I think of often. So, maybe that has something to do with it. |

Hi En, Of course, always get a second opinion. Just thought I would toss this out. In her book "Engery Medicine" Donna Eden speaks of opening the ileocecal valve and the problems you can have if it is closed. Thought it might be of interest since you were told you had a valve closed. If you are in the states you can get the book at the library. The info might be helpful. It is situated on the right side of your body between the large and small intestines, and is governed by the kidney meridian. She tells you how to check it and reset it. Good luck to you.....
