Hi ya'll ! i am looking into doing a series of 'ion body cleanse' through soaking the feet in water with the ion machine.....tried it once, so did my husband, and wow....very impressive results.....lots of cleaning out of old stuff.....has anyone had any experience with this and what do you think of it ? i welcome your imput...thanks, cynthia

I became curious about this from another thread. I googled ion cleanse and discovered a range of prices for these machines, from $3000 to $300. I'm wondering what the difference is in the machines that have negative ions and the ones with reverse polarity. The ads for the negative ion machines warn that reverse polarity puts toxins back into the body and the reverse polarity ones say that they help balance the body. Of course, each says they're better. Any experience anyone? Also, is it the belt that gives the reverse polority? These machines sound really cool but I'd like to buy the right one especially since they're so costly.

That was the thread that piqued my curiosity, Jocelyn. I had more questions so I googled which gave me more questions and here I am. Rather than disrupt the other thread, I thought I'd post here and remain on topic. I'll do more research and post here with my findings. Still, if anyone has any knowledge or experience with the difference between the two types, please post. Thanks!!

I have a "Biocleanse" machine, Cris. It is adjustable to put out either negative ions, positive ions, or a mix. I muscle test the patient every 15 minutes to see if their body wants to change, and often it does. I was told that the different types of ions bond with and take out different toxins in the body, depending on whether the toxin is positively or negatively charged. Often when the person's body wants to change, they start feeling "off", and feel better when it is switched.

Some machines put out a much stronger electrical charge. These feel much more tingley and make the water thick like swamp sludge. There was one of those at the conference where I bought mine, and I felt like it was overkill. The manufacturer of the Biocleanse says the "stuff" you see in the water is just the water reacting and not toxins, but I've seen different things with different people in the same water. And different things with the same people, different times. Using it myself, I definitely have felt sensations of something going on in different areas of my body. One time it was my knees, another time in my head! (No, it's not just "all in my head" ;-) lol!)
