After I seeing the clip I went to search for a few things.
In the first clip the young guy is playing a hang drum and this instrument is not very old. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hang_(instrument)
In the second clip Michael Masley ( http://magnatune.com/artists/masley) plays a quit old instrument.
