Hi Silverback,

Thanks so Smiler very Smiler much for bringing this to my attention. Seeing the video's it reminded me of a class I followed many years ago, "Theta DNA Healing" given by Ursula Hanrahan. I suddenly realised, this looks like something I was taught. BUT... at that time I was not yet ready to use it big scale. I still felt awkward Eeker profiling myself as a "healer" standing there and holding hands and not really beleiving it and at that time I was still too vulnarable to criticism from family and friends. Red Face

I still have this sometimes but now seeing the video's I feel inspired to do it again and thanks to QT.

The muscle testing we did not use in the Theta Healing class.I learned it before (Touch for Health) and I see now it is a fantastic complementary tool to use in this Healing method.

THANK YOU Smiler Big Grin Smiler
Love and Light
Pinky

ps. On which video are you?

Peace to you, Smiler

I ain't in the vids - the world sint ready to see me I don't think!! Do'nt be so modest!

Ah yes I misunderstood about your question and the video Eeker but as I know this form of healing to me it is not completely similar to QT in this that it's done,as it was taught to me,(might have changed it by now) by saying, first loud a certain centence like, "Divine Creator Father, Mother, Son as One, I command a healing of........ for.... person, name, place and time" etc. Than you say it again in yourself and by just holding the hands it can happen, though in QT distance or hands on you can really do the same. But as you know with QT hands on you move from area to area "Chasing the pain" but still you can use it. It's really all about connecting to the Divine.

Love, Light and be Weird, Wild and Wonderful.

What works for one person, may not work for another, is my belief. There are many ways, and modalities that work. Some may be harder to learn by a larger percentage of the population than others. Becoming a doctor for a keen A+ grade learning genius seems easy, but its not for everyone, and does not work for everyone.

What is better, i believe to be a matter of personal reference, and prefernce. A kinesthetically oriented person may be better suited to, and i would think more inclined towards prefering a kinesthetically oriented job, rather than an intensely intellectually oriented job.

Is there a Theta Healing forum to find out more about what its about?

I have heard about Theta healing, and asked some people about it, but not yet entirely clear on what it is about. I think it involves; visual imagery, a component of going into the Theta brainwave state, and working/ communicating with Higher Self (wording may be different, but along those lines). I have not been able to ascertain how successful or proficient practitioners become in the braiwave/ state. I am guessing that the brainwave or state, may have some similarity to CT.

I went on a 3 day Theta Healing course a couple of years ago, after I'd learned QT. I found it difficult because it's very much 'in your mind.' We did a meditation where we went to the end of the universe, into the creator's realm, and there asked for whatever healing we wanted. You have to see the healing happening as a download from the creator, going into the person's body - much more psychic than QT. It can work if you can get the sense of seeing something without going off into doubts! You need to develop control over your mind and emotions.

I used it for downloading emotional states with a couple of people but I could just as well have 'sent' them the states myself or used QT. I haven't used it successfully for physical healing and I have to confess at one point during the last day of the course I felt it was all too much, I didn't understand anything and was sorely tempted to leave! I didn't though and from then on I rather enjoyed it.

You also practice 'seeing' where energy blocks are by scanning the other person mentally - I got some blocks right on my partner but found it all very nerve-wracking! Hard to remember how to do it afterwards too.

They also 'pull' negative beliefs, and replace them with better alternatives, which I've not really done since, and I keep meaning to have a go because that would be very useful! All the work we had done as a group (pulling various negative beliefs) didn't seem to have any effect on me.

At the end we had to 'read' the immediate future for someone we couldn't see (sat with eyes closed while someone sat behind us) and again I did manage that but was very worried I was just imagining a load of nonsense!

So for psychic development it's good but for healing I still much prefer QT. I didn't hear of anyone during the course having any real healing (unlike during the QT courses) and I think it's harder to learn and understand for anyone with self-confidence issues!

Useful to know about though and promises the possibility of instant and miraculous healings where you 'see' the body just as it was before an injury or illness (i.e. refuse to acknowledge the injury etc. ever took place.) One of the principles of quantum physics there - the observer is the one who creates the outcome.

One other thing, I contacted someone on the course with me several months later, to see if we could have a practice and revise the stuff we'd learned, and she said she'd got severely unbalanced practicing it herself and had a mental breakdown - needed to be hospitalised for a time! So there are drawbacks and it can overload some brains.

QT is still no.1 for me but I will always want to know the principles of other methods!

Thanks for that jani - bless you for your honestly.
It's a shame - it looked interesting too.

I *thought* it looked a bit psychic (which - for me sets offmy bullsh!t detector!) so now I no.

After all it isn't about the ONE way it is about, is it not, YOUR way.

Thanks guys.

Scare somebody today!

Hi Silverback, I'm slightly concerned I may have put you off finding out more for yourself! My experience isn't 'the answer' - I only did 3 days of the course and had no-one to practice with or review the various techniques afterwards, which would have made a huge difference. It's not as simple and enjoyable to do, for me, as QT so I didn't really pursue it after the course. My brain wasn't too clear at the time! If I do 'get' it finally and find I get some results using it for healing, then I will repost here and let you know!

I had a little hunt on youtube last night and there are several videos about theta you could watch, and listen to practitioners and people who've been helped (including someone who had their broken legs healed in two days!)

So I wouldn't like to stop you carrying on your research and finding someone who actually does Theta and has good results! I think probably a QTer who can remain grounded while practising Theta is the ideal candidate to master it...

best wishes,
Jane

don't be concerned!
I am big and ugly enough to make informed decisions. I like to consider all options.
for me QT is another (more physical) tool in my box alongside NLP and hypnosis - my "first loves"!

That said I love QT too, and will become more proficient at it in time.
There's just so much bloody stuff to learn!!

I had a theta healing session a few weeks ago. I was not impressed in the slightest. It left me with no desire to try it again or to learn the modality myself.

Just my opinion and experience, of course.

Oh good! Smiler (Is that you in your pic, covered in tattoos?!) You may be that ideal candidate to learn Theta, since you're well versed in NLP and hypnosis; you could stay sane (because you're also running energy a la QT), and get miraculous results! In which case I'm sure you'll post here and let us know.

I agree, there's so much to learn and I want to know it all NOW! I'm now going to ask my subconscious mind to show me how to actually do the theta healing properly...because I think our subconscious/hihger self can bring us whatever we want to know. I keep forgetting that!

all the best,

Hi Neiby, your post wasn't up there when I was replying to sivlerback. What did the theta session work on, if you don't mind me asking? Was it physical or emotional/attitudes?

Glad you tried a session, anyway.

Thanks - I will! I've read loads about it including a bit of NLP over the years, and developed something related to EFT I call 'Automatic freedom' which asks the subconscious mind to do everything - that works. I find it's my greatest interest! Any insights you have would be most welcome. I have found directly addressing my subconscious and assuming it's listening and responding is the secret for instant results.

re. learning everything, it has also occurred to me now that if I could only 'hold' everything I've already learned about myself, healing, communicating with my subconscious etc. in my conscious mind, for easy access, I really wouldn't have to learn anything else!
