Most everyone who commits a massacre with gun or bombs, shoot or destroy themselves at the end. They think they are getting an easy way to escape justice and in the case of terrorists they believe they will be in the arms of Allah and countless virgins!
OH, WHAT A SURPRISE! They do not know or believe thst there is a "Higher Justice" with more exact workings.
In their "LIfe Review", they will live again the moment of horror as they take their own life, over and over and they will re-experience every suffering and emotion of each one they killed; over and over until they realise that killing people is not nice and that will, no doubt, take a very long time and many repetitions.
In fact there may be a more special treatment for such cases. No doubt the administrators understand our old motto, "The worse off the case, the gentler the treatment must be!"
Those of us who pray should also pray for the offender! Maybe send healing, love and forgiveness!

Angels in Virginia Uni Campus

At this time we hold in the light all those people who were so affected by the horrific mass shooting in Virginia Tech University when so many people died. I have also found myself closer to the situation than I expected as Shari, who has worked on the US editions of my books being published by Findhorn Press, was very near to the events as they unfolded.

I have been in contact with Shari and can share her remarkable story of angelic intervention. Inevitably the question "why" is asked by many people. All events have a higher meaning and purpose which is not always apparent to us. In my next book Angel Answers, which is due to be published in the summer, the angels answer many such questions regarding events and big issues facing the world today, including a similar one about mass shootings. And so I have been able to share their response with Shari and now with you.
The higher purpose (My email to Shari)

Dear Shari,

I was so sorry to hear that you were at the University during the terrible shootings. What an overwhelming shocking experience you and all those who were there must have gone through. Thierry asked me to send you a few words, so I thought I would remind you about divine perfection which is so hard to see when we are in the midst of horror. I guess you are aware that there was a higher plan for this as for many tragedies. The angels had gathered already to receive and help those who were passing, for such disasters are known about beforehand. They received a great deal of assistance and were enfolded in love.

When humanity refuses to listen to spiritual guidance and continues to promote ill-conceived laws, such as the right of a citizen to carry lethal weapons, the higher selves of a group of people may plan a murderous plan so shocking that change is forced through. In these cases the souls of the victims and perpetrators have agreed to the circumstances. Their God self chooses their method of passing and remember it was their predestined time to die anyway. So all those whose souls pre-agreed to make this sacrifice gathered together to offer their lives for the eventual good of all. Of course, they are not consciously aware of this for such decisions are made at a soul level. It does not diminish the grief or the shock but it sometimes helps to understand.

Why were you there? Again everyone who was affected was there for a reason. Usually it is to push them into changing their attitudes, to wake them up spiritually, to set them on a spiritual seek and search or to persuade them to use their energy to bring about change in their society. Such dreadful circumstances offer lessons in compassion, courage and many other things.

Most of all as we are moving towards 2012 humanity needs to use arms to hold and hug people, not kill them.

Angel intervention (Shari's emailed reply)

Dear Diana,

Thank you so much for your post! It helped me so much because it speaks to the soul experience, which so often goes unacknowledged. Hopefully the energies of this tragic event will reverberate and contribute to some positive changes. It already has done this for me. And the blessings continue to unfold.

There was a moment when about 20 of us from my office were being evacuated from the 3rd floor. We rushed down a stairwell to the 2nd floor, only to find the door chained and padlocked from the inside. We were trapped on the same floor as the shooter. It was at that moment I felt a band of angels embrace us in their arms and someone in the group suddenly thought of another possible way out of the building by going one more floor down and picking our way through the debris of a room under construction, we were able to find a door that the shooter hadn't barricaded and we escaped. All the while, I felt like the angels were giving my feet wings, as I haven't run since about 1985!! We all ran quickly across the parking lot and reached another building where we were safe. The fact is that in that moment when we were trapped, the shooter was just coming out of one of the classrooms and would have surely shot at us, but at the last moment, something called his attention back into the room and he disappeared and we were able to escape. I feel but for the grace of God we might have been victims, too. Perhaps I should amend that to 'but for the grace of God and the Angels'...

I'm glad Shari and her group got away. Please note that Diana is incorrect; the students and staff of Virginia Tech are _not_ permitted to carry weapons. A bill was recently proposed in the Virginia legislature to allow firearms on campus and was rejected a few weeks ago.

I suggested in "Healing Requests" that everyone do one distant healing for the students and staff of Virginia Tech.
