I am soooo impressed with Oprah! On her show today (the one with Louise Hay mentioned a few posts back) she talked about a new 10-week web class she will be co-hosting with Eckhart Tolle based around his last book, "A New Awakening."

I'm all signed up! (Along with 90,000 others so far - but Oprah says there's lots more room...)

Thanks for starting this thread. I was aware of Oprahs/Tolles upcoming program. Thought I was too BZ to take it in. But decided at last minute to go ahead and enroll in discussion on "A NEW EARTH".

I was delighted to read Eckhart's description of feeling the "Aliveness" in our hands, feet, etc. which reminded me of the Sweeping in QT. I am a semi retired Massage Therapist so have related this energy feeling to many of my earlier trainings in massage. Interesting how he gets into the Breathing techniques also!

I am surprised to see little response on this QT message board from other QTrs! Oprah, as always, did an excellent job in presenting this program with Tolle. I am somewhat saddened by the flak/negative remarks, etc that I am seeing on her message board re: this presentation. I think it is a GREAT work of hers and so inspiring for all Energy workers! I hope she will get much positive response from some of the readers on this message board!

I didn't see the message boards, but I can understand that expectations were raised and then disappointed because the system wasn't really up to par. I myself almost lost enthusiasm.

But luckily, although the video didn't seem to work, I did download the MP3, and was I glad I did! Having gone to see him for a 3-day event at Omega, listened to tapes, read all his books, I thought - well - really, should I bother with the download? YES! It was as usual an incredibly straightforward, refreshing, no-pussyfooting-around delight!

I highly recommend that anyone who has not signed up for the class do so now. Even if they never get the bugs out of the webinar system, the MP3s will be a treasure!

My mother signed up for the class and is watching the video now, I might as well afterwards.

She tried to watch on the first day, and the servers were having trouble because...

...500,000 people tried to watch it in that same day!!!

Talk about the insane load on the servers and all the bandwidth she needs! That's awesome. hehe It's nice to see the world evolving like crazy. Glad to be here!

I was not disappointed with the failure of this program as I suspected 500,000 people would make a strain on internet functioning.
I watched the video next day which was fine for me.
I am however disappointed with the bombardment of the attack on Oprah , Tolle,and this program from the "very conservative religionists" in this world!!! Her message board is filled with remarks denouncing Oprah, Tolle, and the video!

I'm not surprised that the very conservative religionists did not like Tolle's message or Oprah's agreement with it! I was very surprised that Oprah was so upfront with her religious background and beliefs, though not at all surprised that Tolle, as usual, simply stated his experience.

I, too, had signed up for the class. Although I am not an Oprah regular, as the timing of her show does not fit well into my day, I had heard of this and was ready!

I had read several chapters and was ready for the class. I was very interested in whatever Tolle had to say. Yet, because I have been ill, I had to give in and go to bed, missing the class entirely.

I did not realize these problems had occurred; yet, I am not surprised. I had hal-expected that problem, as did the Oprah crew! That is why they were trying to stagger "sign in" times, etc.

Thank you for mentioning the mp3 as I will listen to that and will direct others towards it. I know of others having planned to attend the class and I have not heard if they have tried the mp3 yet. I will spread the word, however!

By the way , Jocelyn, I had recently entered a healing request and was rapidly getting worse. I have had excellent responses to QT before, immediately. Due to a lack of response to QT, I'd immediately thought of a fact mentioned by you on your websites and in your newsletter... one cannot get better if one is ingesting offending substances (referring to allergies/sensitivities, etc.) As it had turned out, I was having a very strong sensitivity reaction to medication!

Thank you for teaching me about this! I had read about this last year from your sites and from your newletter! (Fortunately, I had recalled what I had read! Lol!)
Now that the medication has been stopped and is leaving my system, I am responding to the distance QT. Thanks again for your willingness to share important information!

It is yet another way we are all energetically connected and it is exciting to know that 137-139 countries are involved in this process.

My sister signed up and I started to watch it with her... and as you said before, the servers/bandwidth couldn't take the load and we had to watch it the following day.

I'm very much enjoying contemplating the first chapter and what was said during the webinar. This is the first time I have read any of Eckhart Tolle's books.

The words that are in the book are profound and provide a different look at our world and speak of another way to interact with all that is here on and of our planet.

Bless Oprah and Tolle for bring forth this world-wide conversation into being to be experienced by all.

Bless us all for whatever way we chose to participate or not participate in this.

I was a bit unhappy because I thought I could not participate in this for the reason I do not live in the USA.

But......When I read Andrea's post my heart made a jump and I logged in at Oprah.

This so great ! am a BIG fan of Eckhart and once went to his workshop many years ago. It made a great impact on me and my life changed. Since than I have his CD's DVD's, books the lot.

I forgot to mention that I believe anyone can watch the video of Oprah and Tolle's first discussion....whether they are a member of Oprah's book club or not!

Once one arrives at Oprah's website, there are choice of a couple of buttons to click on to view the video. One can still enroll in the book discussion if they choose. I enjoy watching the video the next day after it is created!
