The pyroenergen was mentioned now & then on a list I was on, that was great for outside the box thinking. Those who used it said it was a high voltage DC current static electricity machine that was good for viruses. It is said to keep the viruses from reproducing as opposed to an outright kill, but at any rate, the population of the offending viruses seemed to go down. No effect on bacteria or parasites that they noticed. The owners were happy they had one.

I am more taken by the battery-run DC current simple Godzilla, which helps many things and costs almost nothing. The yahoo group microelectricitygermkiller has info on making one (5 minute project using batteries, sponges, insulated wire, and rubber bands). For experimental use only...
