I just found out about it and don't have much time to get ready, sooooooo if anyone has any Quantum Touch handouts, marketing materials or ideas they would like to share (hmmmmm? pretty please???? ) I would be oh so grateful!!

Hey, Jana! Congratulations ... I'm sure you're excited (and probably a little stressed out too hehe).

I'm just getting ready to take my first live basic workshop in a couple of weeks, so while I can't help you with the QT part, I can probably give you a little insight into what your visitors will want to know.

If I visited your booth, I would want to know:
(1) What is Quantum Touch?
(2) How's that work?
(3) Can I experience that? (a short demo)
(4) Where can I find more info on Quantum Touch?
(5) Who can I contact if I want a treatment?
(6) How can I contact you if I have more questions?

Have a great time at the fair. Just let your love and warmth flow and you'll be fine.

I would recommend checking out the post from Anto. The post contains pictures and materials that might be informative for your presentation. Also if you go to the practitioner area, there are some posts there as well. Check with Chris too.

In the practitioner/instructor area, there are files to create marketing materials. I used them to make business cards, brochures, and a banner. I used an online company to do my cards but you can probably get them done locally in time. I printed the brochures myself after personalizing them. You can have them done locally as well. My banner was done locally in less than 48 hours and under $100. Looks very professional -- definitely worth the money. I'll have a smaller sign as well next time -- banner for the back and something smaller for the front, I think. QT has done a wonderful job of providing some marketing material files for us. Might as well take advantage of it -- no sense in reinventing the wheel.

I did 5-minute demos, had a bunch of intro CDs, and some Power to Heal books. I mostly got rained out -- but I was ready. :-) Have fun!!! I used two stools to do the demos but chairs would work as well -- armless are better -- more access to the client.

Bring lots of water, hand sanitizer, and if it's warm, a cooler with ice. (Put in on your neck when it gets too hot. You can wash your hands with it as well.) Dress in layers, bring a hat, and wear comfortable shoes. Did I mention? Bring water.

Ask me anything. I've done lots of art festivals and political events. I've done a few health fairs and VegFest with Quantum-Touch. The theory is the same for all. Don't sit in your chair at the back of the booth talking with your friends. Make contact with everyone you can. Look at them, talk to them, try to hand them something. Strike up conversations. Have appropriate giveaways. Last time, I had origami peace cranes that I'd folded. I ended up talking way too much about them because people asked about them instead of QT. (Hmmmm.... Maybe the story of the peace cranes to go along with each would have alleviated that.... "They're a symbol of peace and friendship. You can read more about that here. What do you know about Quantum-Touch?" Hmmm, yep, that's the ticket. hehe)

If you use a table in your booth, be sure to have a table cover that goes to the ground. It makes it look so much nicer and it a good place to hide all the clutter, including your purse and cooler.

How do you get into the practitioner area? I have not been able to since becoming certified, do I have to call HQ or something?

We need more discussions on here about promoting and furthering our QT businesses especially when starting out into the unknown.

You can get the CDs and a couple of books from the office. They ship priority so you'll have them in a few days with weeks to spare.

If you send me your e,mail Jana by PM I will send you my poster that you can adapt for your purposes. I designed it and sent it in to the printers by e.mail which brought down the cost. They just printed it.

Cris - I can't find this, unless it is in the instructor area only... the only thing in the practitioner area is business cards.... I would really like to have a professional looking brochure...

I can't have the books because I don't have a resale license(yet).
