I was curious to find out the difference between the Videos and attending a Basic workshop. Does the Basic workshop teach other techniques and provide additional information than the video sessions? If one was to read the book, watch videos and do all of the excercises does that equate to attending a Basic workshop?

I am planning to attend a Basic workshop if I can make the time, but if majority of the information is repeated than I would rather continue watching the videos.

Any info from experience is appreciated.

Thanks,

The seminars are similar. The live workshop provides hands-on assistance from the instructor, allows for questions to be answered immediately, and the group setting helps everyone feel incredibly inspired and confident as they see how powerful the work is. Simply watching the video will not provide the experience of doing the work. This is why we encourage group video workshops. When people study the QT together as a group, we are confident that they will have had the practice sessions and a fuller experience. That is why we allow a group QT workshop to count as one workshop towards practitioner and instructor certifications.

I had the book, and then took the workshop.

Bottom line, althought the info covered in the workshop is all in the book, it's the practice sessions that really benefitted me.

I made some comments about the workshop in another post:

The advantage of the hands-on workshop is not that the information is different, but that you develop more confidence, you get to work with instructors who are often much more experienced, and you can get your questions answered in greater depth. Richard Gordon has done a wonderful job of presenting the information in completeness through the book, video, and with hands-on workshops. I was successful learning from the book alone and I got good results. Yet I really enjoyed the hands-on workshops and the video. The more reinforcement I got, the more my confidence grew and the more I realized the phenomenal level of work that can be done with Quantum-Touch. Now that I teach workshops, I can say that all forms of learning have their place. I've read the book 3 times and done several workshops and advanced workshops. They all add to your confidence level. The most powerful thing however is doing sessions on people. The more you do, the more you realize how much Quantum-Touch can boost the healing process.
