I was laying on my bed running energy, my cat jumped on the bed, he loves to get his head scratched. he ran up to me in his head scratching pose and suddenly STOPPPED! He looked at my hands with a shocked look, he ran to the other side of the bed and before jumpping off he shot me another look and jumped. My question is WHAT DID I DO?! My feelings are hurt! HELP!!!!

Animals are very sensitive to the energy. He was just shocked by it. Run softly around him...

Our two cats ran from the energy at first, but now they run toward it. They stretch out, melt, and actually become limp when I QT them now. Yesterday, our year-old cat, Blue, jumped on the bed as I was distance-healing my sister's broken knee. Blue lay on my chest and moved into a position where she could plop her slightly injured right back paw into my left hand. She purred in contentment and loved every minute of it. Yesterday, there was a tiny bloody spot under one claw and today it appears to be healed.

The interesting thing is - this kitty can see the energy even if I'm running it in bed while my hands are under the covers. The very second I start running energy, she runs across the room, jumps on the bed, moves onto a good watching spot and stares at the place where my hands are, under the covers.

Cats often seem to prefer distance work and/or the Core Transformation breath which is softer.

My cat had some kind of seizure last several days ago. She walked by the couch, fell over, and started spasming. After a few moments she curled her legs under her and lay upright, looking kind of dazed. I did QT on her, using the Core Transformation breath. I had a sense of pressure on the back of her skull, which i "wombed" and dissolved. I worked for maybe 5-10 minutes. A short time later she got up and she has seemed fine ever since.

Good question... last night I gave my cat QT starting at 2:30 am. He appeared to not feel well and his breathing seemed labored, but after giving QT for 45 minutes he calmed down and seemed to enjoy it.

He hasn't been right (has an on/off cough) for months and had been to a vet for x-rays, ultra sound, but nothing was found. I've been wishing I could 'see' what is wrong with him by looking into his body. Last night after I had worked on him for 45 minutes I saw a large blue shard (an energetic picture) of something sticking out of his back. My etherial hand grabbed the shard and pulled it out of his body. I have the sense (feeling) that he will now get better. It was such an interesting experience... and I had my wish granted to 'see' what was wrong, though I never would have guessed at what I saw.

my cats too aren't big fans so to speak of QT when I run it on them. The breathing does freak them out and I find in general with our cats they receive so much love and affection already that the focused QT sessions are overkill and they don't want "that" much attention. Big Grin

Hi Jody, re. the seizure, sounds much like the epileptic fits my dog Freddie used to have - and I could stop them almost instantly (in the days before I knew QT!) by putting my hand on his head and 'commanding' they stop immediately! He also used to sit up and look dazed afterwards; interesting the way you felt pressure at the back of your cat's head; I used to put my palm on freddie's head so my fingertips were at that spot!

Cats seem inclined to run away from anything strange or different, then take their time thinking about it and accepting it; but I bet if you concentrated on the 'what you love most' technique when running energy, the cat would accept it much quicker! I've tried that and also blessing my sister's cat (I've never had a cat myself) and she loves and responds to both! I think cats need to be adored - they have the hunter's suspicious nature! - while dogs are more humble and trusting of us. Noisy breathing is bound to startle a cat, as it also startles me! I prefer the more yin style of breathing myself, concentrating on feelings and intentions; I'm hoping to do Core Transformation soon!
