I was discussing this with Wendy, and thought we should enlist the collective brainpower of our QT fambly:

Question is: how do we let the non-regular forum members who post for help know about the QT CHI sessions. I sense many who post for healing help may not read through the general discussion forum or even other healing request posts, especially if they are not QT-ers or in crisis.

I would just like somehow to make sure they know of this resource they can access.
I know that some of us have set a general intention for requester to receive the sessions automatically, but experience has taught me that this approach doesn't seem to work that well (I've tried it in various ways in various venues): the element of someone specifically making the choice to either intend a session for a particular individual or to receive for oneself seems to be critical to activating the healing process. Any ideas welcome!


BTW, I've been intending daily QT CHI sessions for my father with no other interventions other than family member's prayer (which has not realized remarkable results before). He went from being in very bad shape and "nonresponsive and possibly may not recover" a week ago to "an amazing recovery" and ready to be moved to another ward for rehab. Both the doctors and my family members were startled by the speed of the changes in him. My father went from incoherence to being angry that he's not back at his seniors' home, & not knowing why he was brougnt to the hospital (he had lost the ability to communicate clearly and seemed disconnected from his environment and stopped eating: we believe it was a depressive episode over my brother's illness)

I did check with inner guidance about what to do for him, and QT CHI came up as the healing approach of choice almost every time.

I have two ideas in response to your post. I'm sure other people will have more.

1. Make it customary for the first person posting in response to a healing request to invoke a QT CHI session with a link back to the thread where this is discussed. Over time, this would get to be a habit, and the requestor could also read more about the QT CHI at the link provided. The requestor could also be encouraged to request their own QT CHI healing sessions on an ongoing basis.

2. We could sign up for shifts of some agreed upon length where the people "on call" would request the QT CHI healing session for every requestor during the assigned time frame. This has a lot of overhead associated wtih it, and I'm not sure how good an idea it is, but it does have some other possibilities. For instance, those on call could make sure that every post is responded to within a few hours. It doesn't happen very often, but sometiems healing requests go unanswered for a number of hours, and I'm sure this must be discouraging to the requestor.

Of these two options, I would suggest starting out with some variation of #1 and seeing how that works. Or someone else may have some ideas that are a lot better.

Thank you very much for your work with setting up the QT CHI healing sessions. It is a tremendous gift to all.

Those of us who have joined the Collective could add the link to our signature. It's not a failsafe option but it's one more thing to direct both practitioners and healers.

Thanks for adding these ideas: I and a few others have added the QT CHI string to our signature blocks (I saw Jo's and now I see yours, Cris! ) I wonder whether it would be better to link to the general discussion QT CHI thread or the Healing Request QT CHI offer. Perhaps the offer, and I could write in the same info about being sure to post separately and about learning and practicing QT, like I did with the "3 session" string...

I guess I'm trying to come up with a way to strike a good balance between making people aware of the sessions without emphasizing them over the standard basic and advanced QT healing work. At the same time, we all want to get a sense for whether and to what degree and how consistently the sessions are truly helpful: a tough one.

As I've already mentioned a few times, this was never intended to replace learning and doing QT; it's rather an advanced application of consciousness and intent in order to make the benefits of QT-based healing available to more people than would otherwise be possible. I also get the clear impression that one's proficiency with QT has a direct influence on the quality of the collective healing intention, so we should all keep going with our QT work in order to add to the quality of the QT CHI!


How about this: QT CHI volunteers could set up a pm string with a list of which requests they will commit to intending daily QT CHI sessions for. We needn't mention QT CHI in our reply posts, but if those of us doing this have QT CHI in our signature blocks, the person can take their own initiative whether to explore it further. How does that sound?

After discussing this with the Quantum Touch staff (I approached them), we're going to need to change the full name of this collective healing intention. There's no problem with keeping QT CHI as its name, but because Quantum Touch is trademarked, and QT CHI is not an official Quantum Touch technique or method, we need to come up with another name.

May I suggest Quantum Thought Collective Healing Intention? It is true to what we're doing, and we get to keep the acronym.

The QT folks were really great about this, and expressed no problem with us doing this work on the forum, which I'm really appreciative of.

Alain even agreed to check out sessions to see what he perceives happening, which will be awesome!

Anyways, please let me know what your thoughts are about the name change, and if okay, I'll go back and make the changes to the intention and whoever wants to can go through it again (only takes a couple minutes).

I wish I had thought this through a little better on the name, but oh well!

I wondered about that as well. How about if we just drop "Quantum-Touch" from the name altogether? Call it Collective Healing Intent -- CHI? Just my suggestion....

Okay everyone,
Since the majority so far is okay with keeping QT CHI, and changing "Touch" to "Thought", I went with that and made the change to all of my posts including the intention: the only problem now is not being able to change the name of the two strings in this General Discussion forum.

Let's think about whether/when to do another group intention in the chat room. We can all still individually go through the reworded intention, and asking for a QT CHI session will still access our original collective healing intention as well as the updated one.

Well..........now that it(the name) has to be changed, we can opt for something simpler such as........Collective Energy Healing
Anyway I'm not fussy about words.
