Hello to everyone!
I now have the book, and I have been practicing for the last 4 days. At the moment I have scheduled a 1/2 hour to performing sweeps for certain bodyparts for 5 minutes each in order to increase my awareness/sensation to the bodypart. Like many I ran into the problem of my torso area not responding, but the lower half and finger do. However, the more I practice I noticed the more I am aware of touching my skin without touching (did that make sense?). Its definetly not a fast response to feel sensations in my lower half, but I believe with many hours of practice it will improve. Is this set schedule of 1/2 hour overall, with 5 minutes dedicated to each bodypart a good schedule? Any other suggestions for practice? WHat I woud like to know is: Since I am primarily working on feeling the flow of energy and eventually feeling sensation more quickly than a couple of minutes. SHould I wait to practice healing until I have a quick response of the energy and a response from all bodyparts? Or could I try healing whenever I would like, and it would only improve when my skills of sweeping the energy improves. Hope this all made sense. Thank you. |

Just start practicing working on people - no problem. Your skills will increase with practice with other people, or when you practice by yourself. Incidently, your skills will continue to improve for many years to come.
