I am giving sessions to my uncle who is undergoing chemotherapy, and he says that his hands feel as if they were in the freezer for an hour. He feels pain, numbness and tingling in his fingers. I do quantum touch on his hands and the pain gets better but it returns within an hour or two. Does anyone have any experience with peripheral neuropathy? I've tried various techniques and used supercharging techniques like the elastic bandage technique, but the results are still only very temporary. Any ideas?

Hi Mush,
Is the neuropathy due to toxicity from the chemo, or from a cancerous tumor? I'm guessing that you're dealing with widespread toxicity, in which case I would use a whole body approach. Usually I start with the chakras, first clearing out the feet, then moving up the body. Probably somewhere along the line you'll start chasing the pain (just a guess from my imagination), but the idea behind my general approach is to energize and open up the chakras so that the body has access to more life force energy. Other ideas which come to mind are working with the liver, and working with the craniosacral system (brain, spinal cord and cerebrospinal fluid)...I imagine the craniosacral system gets amped up when the chakras are addessed. If a tumor is causing the neuropathy, I would probably work with that. My 2 cents Cassandra |

Hello Mush...sad to kow aout your uncle.
As u have also used supercharging techniques, then u shall not b so worried. U know that hard diseases need some hard work to b removed. so u have to work more n hard. As u do quantum touch on his hands and the pain gets better but it returns within an hour or two, it means your Q.T session was successful. So keep on moving, why r u felt afraid ? Always b sure and sure... Also try to activate his all chakras, i hope it will boost his healing. Prayers for your uncle. Aqib |

Hi - I had chemo and experienced a very mild version of pins & needles in my cheeks, tip of nose and fingers. This is a very common symptom of chemo, and it usually goes away eventually when the treatments are done, but not always, so it's a very good idea to do everything you can now. If he's in the middle of chemo treatments now, you can't really expect the results to last because as soon as you've cleared out an area, here comes another bunch of chemo flowing into the system. I think that if you keep on doing what you're doing, it will prevent it from becoming a permanent condition. In the book, Richard talks about areas to work on for the immune system, and it would be a good idea to review that and work those areas. Kidney & liver would be great to QT, too. You want the chemo flowing through and out of the system as quickly as possible.
Also, a couple of really simple things from Jin Shin Jyutsu you can do which work well with encouraging chemo to leave the body ASAP as soon as it's done its job: 1) Hold the backs of the calves while doing QT breathing. You can keep doing it as long as you feel sensation, or for 20 minutes, or as long as you like. 2) Opposite fingers and toes: hold right little finger with left big toe; right index finger with left ring toe; right middle toe with left middle toe; right ring finger with left index toe; right little toe with left thumb. Now do the opposite side. This resets one's whole being. Lots of people have had great results with these ways of clearing the body of chemo and radiation. |

Thank you all for the advice! I tried everything but the 2nd step of the Jin Shin Jutsu technique. I was kind of confused on what part of whose body I would be doing it to. I gave my uncle a fairly long session to get all the points in. One thing he told me was that his head got clearer the last time I did various parts of his brain area. He used to feel "cloudy" minded, but after a session he felt much more clear.

Hi, Mush - those were just two alternatives, not "Step #1 & step #2" - sounds like you did a fantastic amount of work and it sounds like you had substantial results. Nice thing about holding the calves is it's so simple. It's fine to do just that, especially with all the other stuff you're doing for him as well.
Good luck to you both... |

PS - for the second jin shin jyutsu suggestion, the practitioner is holding the client's fingers & toes.

Oy... it makes you wonder which is doing more damage, cancer or chemo, and which will be harder to heal. Hmmm... no advice, I fear to give it.
