yesterday i have done a 50 minute session on my girlfriend in germany.
she just has a bad cold, i called her this morning and asked how she was.
she said that she feels no different from yesterday.
my sensations where intense (and didn't change during the whole session, no matter where i focused on).
!!!i have to say that i am a rookie, this was my first distant healing!!!

any tips for me? why don't i feel a difference over 50 mins. ? i had to stop b/c i was getting exhausted, not b/c i felt that the session was completed in any way.

For colds, if you are to run energy, the symptoms may get alleviated temporarily, but no matter what, it seems like the cold will take the usual few-days to run its course.

You're probably doing everything just right, it's just that colds are stubborn and always take a few days to go away, no matter what medicine or vitamin or energy work you do.

The most beneficial she can do is just get all the sleep she can at night and eat nutritiously during the day. At least that's what my experience has been.

It's possible that you were not connected enough (possibly distracted by your sensations) and the energy was not focusing where it belonged. How were you doing the distance session? Just with your mind, or using a surrogate such as a pillow or teddy bear to represent her, or some other way?

Another possibilty about your sensations, since there was no variation over the whole session, is that it was not caused by the energy. Often beginners breathe too hard and actually hyperventilate. This causes very noticable physical sensations like buzzing, tingling and more.

It's also possible that your were doing everything right; remember that the client is the healer and not every session gets the results you expect. There may have been no effect, or her body may have chosen to use the energy for some other issue that she didn't think to look for.

maybe i just need more practice to feel the fine differences.
I did it with just her body in my mind, which went pretty well tough. i got distracted a few times but was back on track within seconds.
i concentrated on the different chakras and tried also not to be too focused, meaning be as relaxed as possible.
JOdy you might be right with the hyperventilation. even my lips where tingling from the breathing...
thanks also to antranik, that sounds also very possible. mabe even a mix of all of this.

Hi, Scorpio, we are forgetting smething, what about HER sensations during the session? Maybe she felt some sensation, but it will be hard to rember now. Maybe a wormth, where u sent the energy, who knows?
I do my sessions by internet, instant feedback, but if don't have it at your disposal, ask her to give you a call in, say, 15 minutes after the begining of the session. Also ask her to evaluate the sesson after it is finished and wright an evaluation, what she felt, otherwise she can forget next day.

Hi Mr. Wilson,
only problem: when i do Distant healing on her, its 9pm EST (Florida) and 3am CET (Germany).
Meaning she is asleep when i do that.

I have another question:
how do i know that i don't hyperventilate?
or better when do i know that i breath to fast?
sensations in the lips or the famous "energy gloves" - feeling?

This is a technique that I learned from Reiki and some other healing modalities. I haven't tried it with Quantum Touch yet but I am sure that the principle is still the same so it probably works with QT as well: When doing a distant healing I ask that if the person is unable to receive the energy/healing at that moment for whatever reason, that they receive it whenever is easier for them to accept it. I found that this works very well for me and people who told me that they didn't have any sensation during the actual time of the distance healing, they actually experienced a great surge of energy the next day or a few hours later etc.

I also ask that if the energy is not received by the person for whatever reason, to be returned back to earth for some earth healing.

Hi Scorpio,

Your running energy may have worked well and your girlfriend just didn't feel it. My husband doesn't seem to feel it either, but does get results. Keep running energy for her and see if maybe the cold goes away faster or maybe prevents the cold from getting worse and going into other infections.

the healing worked very well, just took 1 day to take effect!
she was already coughing 1 day (usually that means she has to live with it for around 4 weeks) as i did the distant healing and i concentrated the energy on her lungs.
guess what ... the next morning she woke up and didnt had to cough anymore!

Just my objective observation - I find that when a cold settles into a body, that person generally reports an extended period of duress, prolonged stress (both good and bad stress), work and lifestyle changes that have seemed to throw their minds/bodies into a tiltawhirl compared to what's "normal" for them, or something that seems to take them out of homeostatic balance for a period of time.

With QT, I just offer it with an intention of rejuvenation and renewal. Works like a charm.
