Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have any stories on how moving into a state of gratitude affected your healing work or life in general? I'm wanting to explore the magical mechanism with gratitude... please share any insights!

Love & Light!

Hi Jennifer,
well...........I don't have a proper answer to your question since I always considered a state of gratitude as part and parcel of healing work in general. In day to day living, mantaining a state of gratitude is necessary like WD40 to keep things going smoothly. I look at it as a 'yin'energy allowing manifestation, abundance, healing, and generally reducing friction with our peers.
Just imagine that you are ungrateful to the other QT staff members. How that would feel to you and to them?
During healing work in general(not only QT) we can be grateful for being trusted and for having the opportunity to help others.

I think that you will find very interesting what Abraham (Eshter Hicks) has to say on 'Appreciation vs Gratitude'

Hi Jennifer,

To be in the state of being grateful, be aware of all the simple and mundane things of life, such as the unspoken things done by your family, neighbours, colleagues, friends , enemies... which most of the times we take for granted. Strive to be in that state all times. A grateful heart open up the heart chakra which is very helpful for those who wants to heals others.

Hi Jennifer! Greetings from Utah! In our clinical services with our clients and patients, we incorporate the important principles of gratitude and love on a daily basis. We also conduct regular Gratitude and Love Workshops, where our students document and record their feelings in their own Gratitude Journals. We have also found the following eight books on the topics of gratitude and healing very helpful: 1) The Hidden Messages in Water by Dr. Masaru Emoto, 2) Count Your Blessings, The Healing Power of Gratitude and Love by Dr. John Demartini, 3) Born A Healer by Chunyi Lin, 4) Thanks, How The New Science of Gratitude Can Make You Happier by Dr. Robert Emmons, 5) Quantum-Touch, The Power to Heal by Richard Gordon, 6) The Power of Infinite Love & Gratitude by Dr. Darren Weissman, 7) Attitudes of Gratitude by M. J. Ryan, and 8) Gratitude, A Way of Life by Louise Hay. Hope this helps. Have another great day with Quantum-Touch!

It is interesting that whenever one moves into a state of gratitude things start going right, where they were going wrong before. As soon as one reframes one's thinking and looks for everything in a situation to be grateful for, life just automatically starts going much smoother. I find it so ingrained now, after doing so much work with gratitude and advocating it to all my clients, that my first thought are automatically grateful ones whatever situation arises. It doesn't mean to say that I only look through rose coloured spactacles, It just means that I choose to look for the small things to be grateful for and then lo and behold the big issues just seem to resolve themselves.

I use gratitude in my healing work - both with QT and EFT (which combine seemlessly with each other I find), and have found that as soon as one moves into that allowing grateful state and combine it with non-expectation of outcome, the session has many positive outcomes. The client often leaves more grateful for little things they had not thought about before and many carry on and start a gratitude journal which turns their life around.

A gratitude journal is really effective for focusing on the positive aspects of your day by writing down 5 things that you are grateful for every night before going to sleep. You start to look for things during the day that you can write in your journal that night. By focusing on gratitude and things to be grateful for more things start popping up during your day.

Another great newsletter to subscribe to is Patricia Omoqui foodforthought@patriciaomoqui.com You get a daily affirmation from her that reminds you to "Heal your thoughts, heal your life" It is one of the many newsletters I get that I would really miss. Try it and see what you think. She is a life coach as well.

Well after many months away from the board except for brief visits I have ended up going on a bit.

The one thing I am most grateful for is Quantum Touch which turned my life inside out and upside down and opened up endless possibilities and pushed the bounds of the possible. Every day I am in awe of how intelligent the body is in healing itself if it is allowed the right conditions to do so.

Much love
Wendy

Wendy - I like the idea of searching for what to put in a journal at night, to keep the gratitude feeling steady. nice tip.
And btw, we hope you will get back in the habit of hanging around the board again! Miss you.

Thank you for that. I miss it too. I just don't have enough hours in my day now that I am back teaching again. A friend/colleague was killed by a train and i have taken over her class. I thought i was busy when I was running my business and seeing clients but now I leave at 6 in the morning and don't get home til late afternoon and still try and run my little business - whew - its keeping me young for sure, but really nice being back with the kids again. I am experimenting with EFT ind raising self esteem in the classroom and so that is fun. I am in the middle of reports and have just taken a break to answer your post.

Bye for now
Love
Wendy
