It's worth noting that the Lazaris method defines 12 chakras (7 of them being "primary"), but other systems consider that there are more. Whether there are or aren't depends entirely on one's energetic interpretations.

Hence, why I specified 'probably one of those individual things of "where the person is currently"' in my original post.

I personally have witnessed an infinite number of these little energy "powerhouses" - like a continuous strand of pearls - descending into the earth, and ascending into the heavens above. But that's on really "clear" days.

There a dozens of secondary chakra points on the body (the system I'm familiar with counts 22 chakras in the body), and you could say that every meridian and nadi could also be considered a chakra, because there is a small vortex of energy there.

but the core primary chakras most are familiar with, and the nearest 4 transpersonal chakras not located in the physical body (Lazarus emphasizes 4, Tibetan buddhists count 7 or eight, but I sense there are at least 7 x 7) are the ones we apply to supercharging amplification.

So "new"? Maybe not, but new to one's experience, absolutely!
