I've recently started seeing energy from living and inanimate objects, human auras, human energy, and spirits. Does anyone else see this with the physical eye? I'd be interested in learning what I can do with this, and chatting with others who see.

Hi Tim,
I can see a border of energy around people and from what I've read, it's the etheric body that I can see. I can't see spirits and I've only experienced seeing colour in the aura once. I think it's great that you can see. Have you thought of going to a psychic development class/group? They would be able to help you channel what the spirits you see are trying to tell you. Yes, I do, though I've gotten picky about what I want to look at.

When you notice anything, in the same way that you are "seeing" ask, inside, about whatever it is you are perceiving and look/listen for an explanation of your perception.

While this can be very defined it is also a constantly evolving path. One day you will perceive one level of energy another day you will perceive from a whole other vibrational view. In the beginning this shifts a lot. Over time it becomes defined and it takes effort or desire to shift focus.

The more you play with it and practice the more control/possibilities become available.

I mean you have to consciously desire to achieve a particular result. The effort is experimentation. Be willing to shift your angle of focus, literally the line of sight you use to "see" with.

This is a bit hard to explain in just a few words, but in effect as you play with your visual focus and the angle of sight that you focus through, you can see/sense into different vibrations or perceptive levels. Of course, there are other methods as well, but this is a good one for "seeing" with.

Ok now I understand. Yes, I do that. It's like going blind at first, everything blacks out completely in one eye then the other, and then I see the energy of the spirit world. And I use another vision focus to see auras on people and wood, metal etc. But my eyes dry out very quickly, and as soon as I blink, I lose it for a few seconds. It's also very tiring seeing spirits coming towards me, looking at shapes, faces, clothes, scenes with tools and tables and chairs and equipment from thousands of years ago, or the 1950s or the 15th Century - the age of my house here in Amsterdam.

I've always been sensitive with the spirit world. Only seeing them when they allowed it. Ever since I've been doing energy work I have been able to see the aura/energy spirits. It seems to look like the heat off of fire. Clear but sets apart from the surroundings. This happens most offen when I'm in a session with people. Their spirits oftencome with them to the session to help. Sometimes they have me give my client a message. This is always a neat experience.

The act of "reaching" out to perceive is very tiring and depleting. Let things "come" to you more. Relax, think of gathering rather than reaching. Almost as if you are standing in the back of your head and everything has to come to you in order to see it. This should allow you to "see" yet not deplete you.

If I only knew then what I know now....

Ten years ago I wanted to learn to comunicate with animals....I read every book and listened to every tape series I could get my paws on....

My focus was on putting my mind in a seek mode....which did not work....

After about 3 months I gave up....

2 years ago I finally learned about focusing on me my self and senses and suddenly all the answers were there.....

Alain says it best- let things come to you, it seems to me that anytime we seek outside ourselves for those extrordinary experiences, we miss the experience because we are not focused on our receptors/senses to perceive it.....even though the "experience" to be had is at hand

About your post ... I think you misunderstood something. I didn't seek anything, it happened suddenly last week, and I'm asking others who see energy to talk about the experience.

Are there any techniques to speed up process of your personal development to be able to see them?

Hi Tim,

At times, through no "control" of my knowledge, I "see", in at times bloody gory detail. A client, long passed over, was obsessed with the civil war sites near his home. He asked me to come and tellhim all about them. Having no extention on my broom, I couldnt do that, nor did I have the ability.

He became more and more insistent, I backed away as fast as I could, KNOWING I couldn't help him on that front.

I told him so, reiterated the same, said no, and got on the plane when the tickets arrived, knowing I couln't see much, if anything, to help this dying man. Not even there-still in the air-I was ready to go home now, please.

No dice. He met the plane in his wheelchair and special van,special male nurse and away we went. This meant so much to him, and here was I a fakir to the core. I was so embarassed,
At least, I had told him repeatedly.

Then we arrived Gettysburg, And all changed. The village (?) was quaint, the costumes so accurate, I asked where we were? He told me and I plotzed. I was speaking with people who had died long ago, speaking of weather, when the battle would finally get there, what...All this time, while on that filed and area, I had walked beside his chair, holding his hand, the nurse guiding the chair. When there was something to see, somehow, through his utter belief that this would happen, he saw it all.

Fascinating! Then the next day the battle started. In their time, the next day. I was still in the center of the largish field when the battle was whizzing and killing, the screams were the worst, espeially for me, of the horses who were gut shot. all around me, yet, though it was so long ago, I was frightened, sure that I and triumphant client(See? I TOLJA you would see!) would die from a miniball.

It was heinous, hideous to watch so much blood spill, hands tingling madly, yet unable....

I got client and self out of midst of battle, only to find he was deeply scratched on one leg.
I hadn't noticed bushes, etc, all was mushed into the mire of blood and guts underfoot, so how did..

He explained he had been grazed by one of the lead miniballs, and almost would not let me get him to the nearest MODERN hospital. His wound, though minor, was bleeding, he would not let me touch it, and it had to be tended.

Ariving at the hospital, the attendants lifted hiim from his chair to treat him. As they did, the miniball rolled from the seat of the chair and fell to the floor. Screaming wildly, he told me to grab it! I did, and the thing was still warm, although a bit flat on one side, apparently where it grazed him. It had also put a large dent into the back post of the special wheelchair.

After repairs to his leg,we went back to the battlefield, and nothing was there. NOTHING!.

When he died, he was buried in his Gettysburg chair,with his miniball.

I still can't do that,unless it is something that a client wants, very very badly, then it happens.

I see the colors around a person, but mainly I smell the relatives who love the person, and come into his life when needed. Only then do I see, smell, and occasionally touch. I am always as fascinated as is the client. Think of it this way: Old Spice, wafting through the air.
Being allergic, I always make certain my clients dont wear perfumes, etc. But the Old Spice is definitely there. I've gotten to the point of asking the client who in the family has passed over and also wore old spice? Generally, I get a baffled look, and someone will say, well, such and so wore it, but they are dead. HAH! Dead maybe, but looking out for the one on my table, certainly.

I am here in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. Right now snow everywhere....

I am definitely in on the interest of seeing energy....I can see a clear/wavy about 1 & 1/2 border sometimes around animals....thats the extent of it thus far....

Feeling energy is a different story! I am a more tactile person is all so I think that aspect makes it easier....Where are you from in PA....it is a beautiful state.....
