Again, if this is covered in the book I apologize. But I'm doing alot of thinking while waiting for my copy to arrive from Amazon.
One of the incredible results with QT seems to be the movement of bones and vertebrae. Some of the before and after pictures and accounts seem unbelievable. And it seems by all accounts that it's not difficult to do.
Muscles are involved in the correction of the spine.
My questions is this: If vertebrae move into place because they receive energy that tells them where healthy vertebrae are supposed to be (so to speak), then the surrounding muscles must also receive the 'message' to be looser or tighter or whatever so they can return to a normal state too.
Otherwise, the spine would move into place, but the tense or shortened muscles that cause the misalignment would pull the spine out again- like they do with chiropractic treatment.
I guess I want to know how long a treatment to correct spine problems should last before another treatment is needed.
Any comments or observations appreciated.

Everything is affected by the energy - nerves, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and everything else as well. The energy works with an intelligence that is well beyond human comprehension, and yes the bones move too. Bones do not always shift as dramatically as those photos, but it is not hard to see hips adjusting within a minute on about 90% or more of the people you work on.
This is Quantum-Touch - working from a quantum level on down. The body is truly an energy system, and matter on a quantum level has no mass. Matter does not even exist all the time, but it pops in and out of existence. When you run energy it works on subatomic levels allowing the system to come into the optimum health it can sustain at that time.
Hi. I'm reading with much interest the postings here. I don't practice QT, I just bought the book though and my interest as well as concern is piqued.
I have 2 questions. The first regarding spine issues. My 85 year old aunt has a degenerative condition in her lower spine, possibly arthritic, putting it out of alignment and causing her much pain. If I work on her, is there danger of causing a bad situation to become worse because the vertebrae have degenerated?
My second question: Is anyone here familiar with Pranic Healing (Master Choa Kok Sui) or Reconnective Healing (Dr. Eric Pearl) ? Does anyone know how QT compares to either of these healing modalities?
Thank you.

I had read Eric Pearl's Reconnective Healing and I had tried to compare the two. Reconnective Healing isn't laying of hands but hovering your hands over the patient's body and being aware of the sensations of both hands while "stretching" and "pulling" the energy. If I remember correctly, the Universe if suppose to help out with the healing. However with his technique he believes that one can not "absorb" bad energies unless one believes in bad energies. So he says that warding off evils, using flowers, praying, crystals, salt, etc, are not required because it's the belief that affects you. However, he did mention something about aliens and DNA so that's kinda wierd. He also talks about patients displaying certain registers under treatment such as Rapid Eye Movements, fingers or limbs twitching/sudden movements, making puffing sounds, and other registers are signs of healing (but aren't necessary). So have any of you QT practitioners ever experienced such registers before? I had also posted the "noncontact" question regarding hovering the hands over the patient while doing the sweeping and breathing question. Hopefully someone may be able to answer me.
I met Dr. Pearl and saw him lecture. He lost me when he told his audience that the reason they could feel energy between their hands was because he had touched them and passed on his energy. In my book, "Your Healing Hands: The Polarity Experience" which came out in 1978, I explained how people could feel the life-force energy between their hands even without Pearl's help. (The book is now in 9 languages and will be re-released next fall)
Yes, he did mention that, but I think it's the same energy everyone has. He also said that those who reads his books gets tuned to the "reconnective" energy also. I must add that by reading your book, it did the same! Energy is energy!
I admit that it irks me to see someone claiming that he was given the sole gift and ability to give to others what they already possess. Of course it is the same energy. QT at least teaches people to access it on their own, then to focus and amplify it.
Dr. Pearl also babbles about the Kryon channelings....the keys of enoch and so on.....had worked done by one who had done his training....not impressed. For the record, I have not been QT'd.

Hi again. I appreciate the responses regarding Dr. Pearl. I too know that we all possess the ability as I have felt the energy between my hands since I was a small child. I just had no clue what it was until decades later when I started cultivating it. But in fairness to him, I do believe he is legitimate as far as his healing abililty goes.
In the same post I also asked a question about my 85 year old aunt who has a degenerative and painful spine. Does anyone know if I could use QT on her or might I make an already bad situation worse because of the degenerated vertebrae?
Thank you all

I've only started with QT, and have taken the first Workshop. But what I've been taught and have experienced, the body does with the energy what it needs to do. I don't think her energy will cause her body to continue the degeneration process.
I have seen cases where my wife experienced an increase in pain in an area that I was treating. Or, when treating her neck, all of a sudden she has a splitting headache. So it may cause your aunt some discomfort or pain and the energy starts to work in the area you're treating. But it's usually temporary if you have the time to keep running the energy.
Also, while some chronic ailments may disapear after one session, I'm finding that you have to work at it, with chronic problems.
That's just my experience.

Thank you tmac. I guess my concern is that if her vertebrae are degenerated, that causing any movement even if by QT might cause her more harm. However, maybe the energy won't cause movement. Maybe it will just relieve pain. I'll give this some more thought before I venture into this territory.
The energy more or less knows where to go and how to work. Generally in any given situation the answer is to continue to send in more energy. The energy as it is sent in also works with the bodies intelligence. What I mean is we don't have to know what the change will be. Trust in the bodies intelligence. Send in the energy. If you want to have a mental image associated with it, and are fearful that you might cause problems due to the spine straightening, then send in the energy with the thought of eliminating the pain. That said I've found that the body will use the energy as it sees fit. I may have a particular agenda in mind, yet the body, in its vast wisdom, will use it as necessary and resolve things in its own manner. Some might say the energy will be accepted and utilized for the bodies highest good.
