Hello everyone,
I have been away from the board for quite a bit now. Today I feel like reconnecting and sharing with you some of my thoughts about how QT can help us not only heal but develop consciousness in ourselves. Which when spread can help stop the insanity we humans inflict on each other and our planet.

QT is an amazing gift we have to not only heal the physical and emotional levels but also develop our consciousness.

Most of our world lives in unconsciousness of the true nature of our being. Most of us identify with form, with the roles we play, I am a mother, I facilitate healing ect… These are things you do but not things you are. We get upset, angry when our beliefs, knowledge or authority are challenged. We get frustrated when things do not go the way our mind thinks they should be going. We resist reality and what is. We identify with the content of our mind and forget about our true nature.

QT is an amazing tool to bring us right in the center of the true nature of our being. To reconnect us with our consciousness and develop presence. First through basic QT we develop awareness of our inner body through sweeping and breathing, we become present in our body and being. Then Core work brings us in touch with timelessness and the essence of our being, pure consciousness that we bring right into the tissues. That consciousness is like a conductor restoring harmony to an otherwise cacophonic chaotic musical arrangement of each cell playing their own tune.

However, there is more to QT than just heal the body and emotions. We can use QT to further develop ourselves and bring that awareness, that healing consciousness in all aspects of our lives. When we do that, we become aware and conscious and stop being taken over by negativity and emotions, we stop creating conditions that bring suffering to ourselves, our loved ones and our planet.

How? By not only doing QT in a session but by being the energy of QT. Being the energy of QT means being that consciousness aware of itself. Qt is then not only something you do but something you are. Which you already are but do not really know it, because your mind has identified with form and taken over your sense of beingness.

How do you do that? You learn to understand and recognize how that process works. You learn to recognize the relationship the egoic mind has with, your thoughts, emotions and your perception of yourself. You understand the workings of your egoic mind. How it creates drama in your life which leads to suffering. You not only know it but you also step out of it. You become aware of your thoughts and emotions, you watch them in action, allowing them to be without analyzing or judging them. You become the observer of your thoughts and emotions. The minute you observe yourself you become free from your mind, from your identification with form, emotions and thoughts.

When you can bring that awareness and dimension into all aspects of your life you start being that energy that is healing through QT. QT becomes not only something you do but also something you are, and consciousness becomes aware of itself.

If this has caught your interest, I highly recommend reading "The Power of Now" and "A New Earth" by Echart Tolle. he Explains that process with great clarity and simplicity.

Blessings to you,

I totally agree with you about Qt, it's really opening doors for me i've been also really into watching Eckart Tolle's classes on Oprah which i'm still waiting on the book in the mail. I havn't even read it yet but i'm now getting the concept about what he's talking about. I'm trying to incorporate qt along with being present and running energy and being energy. I'm so happy because i'm really starting to learn Quantum touch even more in depth. I still have alot of room to grow and to feel the energy even more working on enhancing it. In the beginning i was really afraid of it because of how powerful it is and overwhelming it was, so that was my blockage (fear) which has been my biggest challenge in my whole life, I'm afraid of alot of things (huge insects, flying, heights, dentists which i've already overcame my fear of the dentist this year). And I don't like Clowns very much. I hope someday i'll get over my fears. I did traveled in airplanes a few times, but i had some great friends in the military to keep me calm on the flights. I have a couple more small fears but i'm working on those.

Peace and love to all

Hi Isabelle,
I've been away from the board for a while also. It is great to check back in from time to time. I've been working with the same concept of being QT in my massage work. As running the energy through the hands is a given with massage, I've been experimenting with expanding the energy so that I am the field and then filling up the room with it. From there I drop in an intent, like clarity, balance, peace. It really seems to shift and expand the energy during the session. I think I'll work with it more outside of the massage room too. Thanks for your insight.

Cassandra

Just bought Tolle's new book and am about to read it. Your post just caught my eye. Isabelle - your explanation about the observer is a lot like the mindfulness course i am in the middle of doing. It is how to use mindfulness in every aspect of one's life and how to meditate. Just did a retreat over the weekend with some Bhuddist nuns from Plum village in France which was in the similar vein - I have rarely met such peaceful present people.

Will report back when I 've read the book.

Love

Issy, Aaron, Cassandra and Wendy, thanks for your excellent insights, every word. Cassandra, it's nice to see you back on the message board.

The way I experience the two sides of QT, the yang and the yin, it feels to me that a distinction between "doing" and "being" exists. When I am doing Basic or SC, the yang side, I am busy...doing doing doing. Breathe, sweep, vortex, tone, what you love most, chakras, colors..and so forth.

When I do the Yin work, either Core 1 or 2, I mostly experience that as a more "being" kind of thing. I am BEING the energy, BEING the love, being the connection, being allowing---- just being, being, being. The intention is just to be, and change can and does result from that. Yes, mentally you are "doing things," like wombing, but it just has a different feel to it, and that "feel" is more being than doing.

This point of view may be unique to me, or perhaps not. I'd be interested to hear other thoughts about it. Thanks.

Hi,

If you are interested in the works of Ekhart Tolle you might also be interested in the works of Paramahamsa Nithyananda. You can check him out at http://www.nithyananda.org/

He also has a whole series of youtube videos that are totally awesome. You can visit them at http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?p=r&user=LifeBlissFoundation&page=1

We have been working with many of his techniques for almost a year now and have seen exponential changes in our conscious awareness.

In our work with clients we not only work with the energetic, but also the spiritual aspect of their life. We are introducing them to many of these meditation techniques with wonderful responses from them. Of course all the work that we do is really on the energetic level, since we are energy, but their are different ways of approaching it, through the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, as well as energetic. It is just the way your focus on it.

Hope you enjoy. We sure have. (my husband and I. I am not a split personality, ha!)

Debra,

Thanks for sharing. I will definitely check this out. I feel it is about growing and moving forward. I wholeheartedly agree that we need to be aware of all approaches, through the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual because life in itself is not one simple thing.

Many Blessings

Thanks to all who participated in this tread.
Aaron I can relate to what you are saying about fear of the energy and the unknown of it all. I too had to face that. With Eckart Tolle you have access to some of the best means to deal with and integrate emotions. I am realy glad you are keeping with it. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Welcome back Cassandra, sounds like you are doing well mixing Qt and massages. Glad to hear that you too are working to take it further into your daily life.

Wendy I would have loved to come to that retreat and meet these nuns. It seems that many people are working with the same basic ideas just phrased a little differently. Living the daily meditating state of awareness.

Ali yes yin and yang work are often described and experienced that way. Nothing new or different there. What I am talking about can take you a little further if you wish to. Let me explain it a little more.

When you are doing basic Qt as you said you are doing, you are sweeping and breathing doing this or that. If you are not aware you become the doing, there is nothing wrong with that approach, it is perfectly ok and that may be all you want or require from it. Although it can make it a little boring at times.

However I find that I can add another dimension to the doing and become more present with it by not identifying with it. That means that as I do the doing part of me is also aware of my being. When I do that the doing takes on another dimention and does not feel boring. I become more present and in touch with the joy of my essence and that of the other person. The work flows better.

The core work takes you directly there through a specific technique. But you can access that state in other ways as well. Like Alain says there are many different entry points. And core work is one of the fastest and easiest way to quiet that mind and reach stillness. However it is hard to do both yin and yang at the same time. That is why when you do yang a different entry point is required to access that state. Sometimes people fall directly into it at times other times you need to make a conscious choice, and that is what this is about.

Debra, thanks for sharing your working experience and the lifebliss foundation link. He seems like quite a beautiful person.

Kweden, I too have experienced the release of blokages in my energy field and I think it is what has made it possible for me to be where I am at today. Energy work is very powerful that way.

Those who have taken Core should experiment with doing Basic and/or Supercharging techniques from the Core Point. The experience is rather interesting. The different breathing offers a somewhat different perspective.
