Alain, I'm loving practicing with the stuff you talk about on the "seeing and perceiving" DVD, and I was wondering if there are any other exercises, techniques, etc. that you could share which might help me develop my energy perceiving abilities faster. I'm catching little bits of color now and then and the etheric double is pretty easy for me now, but other than that it's fairly slow going, so anything you could suggest that might speed up the process / help me go deeper with it would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps a kind of meditation to give me an extra boost, etc. Thanks always.

Good to hear that you are finding the DVD worthwhile. While there certainly are other exercises, they are not straight forward. They are best done with someone directing you as you do it. I do this type of thing in the retreat I teach a couple of times a year.

Beyond that it, in my experience, is mostly about letting things come to you rather than reaching. Meditation/contemplation on perceiving energy or desiring to sense color or patterns or however things choose to present themselves to you is good as well. This tends to be a gradual way to open perceptive skills but one never knows.

So much of perception is about letting yourself perceive vs having to do something in particular to have these experiences. Many people say they want to perceive in other ways but the idea really is not a comfortable one. Then of course there is the standard more common problem that as people begin to perceive they doubt what they are sensing is real and so don't believe they can. This slows things way down.

I have thought of writing a book on all this with very detailed descriptions. Perhaps that would be best as short answers are not easy here. But a couple of short answers would be: Anything that stimulates the Pineal gland. Anything that increases your sensitivity to feeling. Approaching perception from a sense of curiosity rather than believing things have to look a particular way.

We just finished the last of the editing for the Core Transformation book yesterday. So it may be a while. Wink

Thanks Alain,

I would also like a copy of a perceiving book, as soon as you have one.

Alain,
Is the "core point" related to the pineal gland/third eye. Would doing the "core breath" help perception?

To some degree the answer is yes but you have to be able to be there without "looking" at the core space as then all you see is the the Core point.

The Core point is on the same plane as the pineal or at least close enough so it doesn't matter. It lends itself well to feeling more than seeing but it is definitely an entry point. Smiler
