Can you share with me your means for enhancing the results of accupuncture with QT? I'm wondering if anyone charges the needles, runs energy through the meridians whilst needles are in place, etc. Seems core techniques would work well, but as usual loving intuition and inspiration are probably the best guide.

I observed a session with a friend, and just kinda watched his energy field and did a few sweeps. The accupuncturist gave him a liver diagnosis (energetic of course), which felt correct to me as I had observed a dark energy blockage in that area. The session helped my friend to feel better, but he didn't go back for more.

PS I am not an accupuncturist, but hoping to assist with veterinary accupuncture.

I generally keep my acupuncture and QT fairly separate. I may do both on a patient, but not usually at the same time. I often balance people's hips and occiput before I put them on the table. I may also do QT after I get the needles in, but more on "areas" than on the needles. Occasionally if a person just comes in for QT, I may focus the energy on specific points or meridians if it seems appropriate, but I don't usually do that. I sometimes do distant QT while I'm doing moxibustion. The only time I've used QT specifically with a needle is when I was trying to needle a very tight area and the needle didn't want to go in. I did some Core work for a moment and the needle slid right in.

I once did a distant healing session on my husband, in the same room with him, while he was getting an acupuncture treatment for a back injury. He immediately fell into a deep sleep, and he reported that his recovery was much quicker than in times past.
