Hi:

I did a search and there was too much material to read to see if this has been answered. Sorry. I was wondering if I just read Quantum Touch, can I expect good results without going to the workshops? I plan to use it with reiki. At this point, I don't need a certificate.

After reading about the workshops, I feel like if I really want fantastic results, I need to do the workshops, not just read the book. I hope that's not true. Would appreciate some input.

Also, saw a thread asking if there would be more books to include supercharging (I believe) and I wonder about including core training in that book. I didn't see an answer to that post.

Thanks so much.

Rita

Hi Rita. I think that you can expect some results with the book, however your supposition is correct. Nothing can replace the experiences of attending a live workshop. Not only will you experience the different energy of your "Clients", but you will experience the difference of response to your energy from different people. As well you will have your techniques and breathing monitored by an experienced instructor who will be able to answer your questions as well as share their many experiences with you.

So, find a workshop, sign up and I guarantee that your life will never be the same.

Hi Plantsower;
Three months ago I read the book and got some results. I then decided to take the video class.
After the class i could do quantum touch much better. Then i kept practicing for another three month. It got even better. I then took the video class again recently. It is now working even much better.

The Supercharging book is in the works, and a Core Transformation book will be written next.

I think that it depends on what your learning style is. We've had people who have read the book take the class and say that it only reinforced what they already got. We've also had people take the course and exclaim that they finally understood what they were supposed to do. It always builds confidence and it is great to see those lightbulb moments.

I would always recommend a workshop, because of what Dennis said, however, I do believe that many people get quite good results from just reading the book.

How you utilize it with Reiki is sort of up to you. We know it combines very well with Reiki, as we have a friend who is a Reiki instructor and she loves to include QT with her work. However, I'm not sure exactly what she does and I don't practice Reiki myself.

If you are like me and have a hard time with written directions, then the workshop, either video or live, is irreplaceable. But start with the book, especially if you have some background in energy work already. You will know when it is time to take a workshop, if at all.

Hello All-

This is my first post since the Core Transformation workshop.

First I want to say that it was a most excellent experience, one a book/video could not replace.

Because the Core techniques are based on being in a particular place in your head (for BEST results)and since Jody and Alain can tell when you are "here", and help you find that place taking a workshop in INVALUABLE!!!!

The original book is awesome....and takes you pretty far...but SC and CT build on that knowledge and increase your skills set for dealing with different types of health issues. They give you more tools to use....and help you to develop and increase your level of intent.......

The SC class-(I watched on Video) was great and I could feel the results by practicing the techniques but in retrospect feel that the live course would have yielded more potent and consistant results...

The Core Class is phenamenol....

The level of intuition, intent and entrainment occurs in a space where the mind/body becomes one by inviting a person to experience their internal structure by focusing their minds eye
inside their body.....

Its the idea of being "Fully Present" within ones self.....feeling "at home"

I am addicted to the experience and have used core techniques for myself daily.....

A little asides....after learning to flow my riding has improved....what a surprise!!!!

Anyhoo- the class was again totally awesome...

Many, Many thanks to Alain and Jody and all the participants who were so nice to me in allowing me to join them at meals!!!!!

Thanks, Tracy. Very interesting.

I am wondering if even though the workshops may be more powerful at the time, that a video makes it possible to get the training over and over again instead of trying to remember all that is said.

Are there notes or anything included in a workshop to help one remember. Audios? Anything? I am trying to make a decision that makes sense for me financially and of course, be able to remember all of it so I can actually use it.

Thanks.

Rita

Hi, Rita - Notes are included - however, I did find the SC video a fantastic reminder. I'd sort of let most of the techniques drop, and seeing the SC video really got me back into it in a deeper way. (Also, I took it with a teacher who is no longer teaching - I felt that Alain did a much better job, and that may have had something to do with my having a deeper experience from watching the tape after taking the live class.)

I'd start with the most economical choice for you, see what happens, and go on from there! (But I understand . . . . I myself am Queen of the ditherers!)

Hi Jocelyn:

Thanks so much, one ditherer to another. LoL! I guess if I had unlimited resources, I would take the live class and also buy a DVD of that type of class as a reinforcer. It would be nice if that was included in the live fee. Oh well. You gave me good advice, and after dithering on that, I will make a decision. Ha-ha! Wink

Regards,

Rita

One consideration to remember if you're trying to get certification--the basic video class counts toward certification, but the Supercharging and Core classes have to be live to count.

Hi, Rita. I read the book first. When I took the live basic workshop, I expected to get a manual and lots of handouts, notes, etc. to support the info in the book. That's when I found out that the book IS the manual! So, yes, you CAN learn QT from the book. However, it's MUCH more rewarding to attend a workshop when you can afford it.

Regarding the expense of a workshop, consider taking the basic video workshop. It's only $65 and it's taught by Richard Gordon. I have facilitated 3 video workshops in the last 3 months. People who have never read the book or practiced ANY type of healing techniques are amazed at what they learn in just one weekend. And people who have been practicing other healing techniques are blown away by how quickly they see NOTICEABLE results in those 2 days.

On the QT home page, under the Basic Workshops heading, click on the Workshop Schedule link. Then click on the Interactive Video Workshop link on the next page (QT Event Calendar), then click on your state or country or planet to see if one is being offered near you. It's that easy.

Best of luck to you, whatever you decide to do.

Dear Jody and Luckdoubt:

Thanks for your input. All of this info is very helpful to me so I can weigh my decision on what to do. If money wasn't a factor, I would go in person and also buy a video to remember everything. So there's the rub.

Thanks again for showing me more options.

Rita
