I've developed a whole new respect for this wonderful work of ours after seeing the long lasting, and continuing results of Quantum-Touch on several of my clients.
In one case, the man had attended the Healing Circle for many months. He has diabetes and was suffering from pain in his neck, arms, and lower back. He has neuropothy in the lower legs, so walks with a cane. Over the period of treatment, the pain in his body went away, and he was beginning to have pain in the lower legs, which had been numb for many years. Due to various situations, I did not see him for some months. When he returned, the pain in his body had not, and he continued to have some pain in his lower legs. In spite of several falls and other incidents which would normally cause the pain to return in the upper body, it did not.
In another case, I had worked with this client for some months. She had had rods put into her back when she wzs 12 years old and they had remained for 20 years. When I saw her initially, the rods had been removed for some time, however she was in extreme pain. I saw her weekly and then bi-monthly for several months, and then not again for 10 months. When she returned (she had fallen) it was clear that not only had the work sustained, but it had continued to improve the alignment of the spine and the healing from the various surgeries.
In a third case,I was uncertain as to whether the curvature of the spine had actually changed at all after quite a few sessions. Photos had been taken, and when we compared these pictures, it was really difficult to tell if there had been improvement. However, I printed the picture out on 4 x 6 paper and examined these pictures by comparing them from the lower body to the upper body. When looked at from this perspective, it was clear that not only had the body changed, and quite a lot, it had continued to change over several months when I had not bee doing any work.
I am in awe of this wonderful modality and continue to workf with great enthusiasm every day as I work with my clients.

That fits with my deductions. I was reading about a study that compared low frequency emissions created by a machine and the energy that is emitted by a Reiki practitioner's hands while working. The two are comparable. The machine jump-starts the body's healing process. I deduce that the Reiki worker's hands do the same thing -- jump-start the body's healing process. So why do we say the the energy continues to work for a day or two for Basic and for up to a week with the advanced techiques?? We're limiting ourselves with our beliefs. We're jump-starting things -- the body intelligence takes over and, of course, things improve over months.
