There are many companies springing up that sell alkalized water for about 2-3 times the price of regular bottled water. Has anyone successfully alkalized water using QT (and tested the pH to prove it)???

I was at the "Congresso Brasileiro de Metafísica" 2 weeks ago, a PHD in something I don't remember what, presented a paper on healing, during his presentation he said that when we run enrgy in blood it changes blood PH, and blood becomes acid, that's why it attacks bacteria!
But I don't know what happens to water. Wilson Certified QT P&I Wilson |

What is the pH of "alkalized" water?

Just for consideration - alkalyzed water, when allowed to sit exposed to oxygen, quite rapidly returns to its mildly acid state. In a few hours, perhaps a full day.
Then again, if your blood were to vary in pH by even a very small amount, you would quickly become dead. The body uses a very complex and refined process to keep your blood at a very precise pH. Just for consideration. |

I was at a festival recently and charged some water as a test for 5 minutes. The alkalized water people got around to testing it over an hour later. It was the same ph as soda. I wonder what it would have been if they'd tested it right away.

I have not made any PH measurements from applying QT on water.
Some years ago i did measure a drastic PH change toward alkalinity with a different liquid, but did not yet know QT then. Around that period, I was doing deep intention work on myself. Sometimes this was with food and liquids i was ingesting for the purponse of healing and self expansion. With some of the grattitude work i was doing at the time, it was something resembling QT, and sometimes i felt energy in the hands. It was just what came to me intuitively. I was testing one of those liquids that were frequently part of my intention work, for self ingestion. This liquid is known to alkalize over time. Testing was with a pool PH meter at the time. Usualy, the liquid started less than Alkaline. Before and after measurements of this one particular batch was something like half a day apart (or evening and morning). I thought there was some sort of error with the PH tester. From my PH testing of every other sample over months, it had normally taken something in the order of a week to two weeks to reach that level of alkalinity on its own. I was in near disbelief about it, so i cleaned the PH probe, and tested it against the reference liquid in the kit and it seemed ok. The next batch of liquid was not alkaline, so it was not suggestive of PH tester error. There was one other time, close to this incident where this happened again. This time I observed it with my very eyes in the before and after testing. Of course i checked the Probe again, and also against a different batch that was acidic. I do not see the importance of going into the details about the liquid, and prefer not to go into it. Seeing as how intention is one part of QT, i thought it relevant to share my experience. |

So what's the liquid? |

Anto, I am guessing that the liquid mentioned above is urine. (For "self-ingestion." Otherwise the language would have been "for ingestion" most likely.) Second guess is something undergoing fermentation....I will leave it to your imagination, ha ha. Creating an air of mystery about the liquid calls attention to it though, and begs the question, yes?
Bottom line here is that any discussion of alkalinity / acidity is referring to pH. The ONLY way to know the pH of any substance is to measure it. You must measure before and after any attempt to change the pH, that is obvious. Until that bare-bones measurement is made, we have no idea what we're talking about here. Unless water is distilled & purified, there will always be impurities in it, so you will have to specify what water you are working with. Lake, river, spring, tap water, water with diluted waste products? If distilled, what brand? Uniformity of testing materials is mandatory. Which method of measurement will be used? If the substance mentioned above is urine, pH can be all over the place very quickly in a very wide range, depending on the health of the individual and their intake. If the substance is a product of fermentation, the same statement can be made. In order to have a large enough sample of experiments for application of statistical methods, (margin of error for one) thousands of measurements need to be taken and input from multiple practioner/experimenters would be needed. This could be an interesting discussion IF someone sets up a study with very carefully thought-out guidelines, but until then it's just speculation and guesswork, myths and old wives tales.
